Altrincham v Hartlepool United (7:45pm)
Barnet v Wrexham (7pm)
Dagenham & Redbridge v Maidenhead United (7pm)
Notts County v FC Halifax Town (7:45pm)
Solihull Moors v Stockport County (7pm)
Sutton United v Yeovil Town (7pm)
Wealdstone v King’s Lynn Town (7:45pm)
Woking v Boreham Wood (7:45pm)

With the possible exception of Wrexham, all of the other sides in playoff contention have, on paper at least, difficult matches.

Sutton will need to bounce back from Saturdays rather flat performance. We got a nice 2-1 win at Huish Park early in the season but Yeovil are a far better side now. I don’t think I can call how tomorrow night will be.

And I of course meant to write ‘March 9th fixtures’

Yeovil weren't great shakes on Saturday.

Be interesting to see if we’ve done anything with our week off to try and deal with the high press, as any manager with eyes is going to try and do against us now.

Barnet seems like it should be a free hit. But we will probably huff and puff and contrive to draw nil nil or lose be the odd goal.

We are a funny team in terms of pressing. Against Hartlepool we sat off and let them dictate. 4 days later we pressed high against Wealdstone. Will be interesting to see what approach we have. Would take a point

Altrincham were on a rotten losing streak before beating Woking, they gave us a right game at our place and probably should’ve got all three points that night.

Still fancy our chances here, we’re in good form coming off the back of a good three points at Torquay and with them not playing this is an ideal chance to leapfrog them.

Just saw the stats for both teams’ last fifteen games on Twitter, talk about a contrast!

Scored:
Notts 17
Halifax 33

Conceded:
Notts 8
Halifax 23

I think we’ve kept one clean sheet since Nathan Clarke got injured. A 0-0 at Wrexham where they parked the bus. He’s been a big miss at the back.

Funnily enough, I think that might be the only game we haven’t scored in either during that time period.

If I was a betting man, I’d be always putting both teams to score in our games.

Big game for us really, after no wins in 3, including last Tuesday’s debacle v Kings Lynn.

Saturday was a good day for us without kicking a ball, but we need to take advantage if we’re going to have any aspirations if troubling top spot. Another winless game and I can see grumblings against Ardley increasing.

Sounded a good performance and big effort by Halifax at the weekend, hopefully it’ll have taken a bit out of them. Praying for more playing through the lines, and less ‘full back gets to halfway line then passes back’.

Hope Ardley actually starts with the 4-2-3-1 that we have to keep switching to after half an hour because the midfield is being overrun.

You’ll have to really try in order to not create enough clear goal scoring chances to beat us. Just get the ball to the wings and cross it or engineer a set-piece of some kind. We’ll also keep giving the ball back to you too so you’ll have plenty of goes.

Look...*pained expression* we were organised drilled, we ran out own race and some of the bits and pieces we did were good but look its hard. Teams get turned over and we didn't today so we have to be happy with that. Look I'm pleased for the lads and look, we go again on Saturday.

Think we will beat Barnet as we continue to prepare for next season the bonus money for remaining in the play off position is becoming quite an incentive for the players

Sounds like Notts County have purchased a new team for the occasion.
Well Notts County we have 2 modes. Fantastic incisive play or utter car crash. Place your bets. There isn't a single Halifax fan that knows which one is going to show up.

A point wouldn't be a bad one for us. Especially since the majority of our remaining games are at home.

Be pretty surprised if any of our new signings start tomorrow.

Ten basically pick themselves probably (most of us would change the central midfield pairing, Ardley definitely won’t). Only question is really whether Jimmy Knowles starts upfront in a 4-4-2 or Calvin Miller out wide in a 4-2-3-1.

Utter rubbish. Performances have been fairly consistent all season. 10 defeats, 8 of them by one goal, 2 by 2 goals. Where are these car crashes you're talking about? You're like all the rest- win and we played fantastic, lose and it's a car crash, manager doesn't have a clue or a plan B, time to go, the players are shit..... it's pathetic. Oh and I'll get it in first this time, arsewipe.:ds:

You know we lost at Barnet just 3 weeks ago right. You know the team that keeps getting pumped every week by everyone else in the league

To be fair though you don't need to join the Halifax messageboard. Enough people on here think your a bellend without that

Your what's known as a happy Clapper. You refuse to accept criticism of the club at any point.

You just proved my point. I in an instant point out a game in which we were embarrassed and you just completely choose to ignore it. No surprise though.
Would you like more evidence. How about the 2 cup defeats against 2 distinctly average lower league sides?

Not quite as bad as when Ian Holloway was our manager, after every defeat he was “proud of his players” including after the 3-1 defeat at Dagenham in the cup.

YOU were embarrassed. Because we lost a game YOU thought we would win. Cuz like, Barnet are at the bottom, right? I was ALWAYS more worried about Barnet than I was about Torquay. Because I actually know a thing or two about football. South Shields? Covid wasn't it? Southport? Best team won, congratulations Southport. See? It's not hard to admit the other side played well and won, if you really try, it doesn't always mean your team is shit. Do you think you could manage that? It's obvious what your problem is- arrogance! You think The Shaymen are so fantastically good, they can only get beat if they play shit. Try giving the other teams a bit of respect, do you think you can bear to do that, huh? Arselicker. :woot:
