Combination of things, bit of bad luck with injuries all defenders. Reda Johnson and Willis out for season, Aaron Martin injured for 6 weeks and Ben Turner loan cut short by injury, meaning we had full backs playing centre half and at full back young players who weren't good enough. Too much tinkering and a case of too many cooks spoil the broth, did we really need Cole and Hunt? Its limiting the chances of players like O'Brien and Lameiras who were really good early season. Loss of form by some players, Jacob Murphy is hot and cold and going through an awful spell where he can't do anything right at the moment. Teams have worked us out, teams are setting up to defend and hit us on the counter whereas early season teams were playing open against us which played right into our hands. Fleck missed last two games through suspension and his replacement is sub standard.

And all of this only then makes worse some of the underlying issues that have been there all season like the goalkeeping position.

He is dreadful.

Mowbray is too attack focused, even though remarkably he was a defender as a player. The goalkeeper is not good enough, and needs replacing. Ramage is a panic signing which hasn't worked. Only seen him play twice but do not get why we signed Hunt. However, I think Lorentzson and Rose may be good for us.

That being said, we have had terrible luck with injuries. Jordan Willis, Reda Johnson and Aaron Martin are all out and all three are good defenders.
