The meltdown over Sheff Utd fans is stupid, any set of away fans that have travelled on a thursday night to watch their team is gonna be pissed off when the game is suspended especially as a lot probably don't know how bad it is with us.

Protest was spot on and will get the coverage we need. Until SISU leave the club is dead, the only chance we have is protesting in front of an audience like we got today with sky and hopefully they will see sense.

Thought Sheff Utd were well on top before the pitch invasion so who knows what would have happened but the result didn't matter anyway.

Good result for the fans tonight. These bunch of kids have no chance of survival and we will be down by April. Hopefully then SISU may give up.

Sheffield United fans were embarrassing, the only noise they made was when they were chanting about SISU. Lets not forget the Tevez situation.

In just a few posts this evening we see why football is fucked in this country*. Coventry have the (current) worst owners in the English leagues, IMO anyway. SISU is a hedge fund specialising in distressed debt. They have – and never had – any interest in football, just want the ground to sell/redevelop for profit. If the football club attached goes pop as a result, they couldn’t care less. Surely that’s obvious to anyone who has ever taken even a cursory look at what’s going on at Coventry. Yet, apparently, Sheffield Utd fans – a few/the majority? – fail to see the bigger picture, just focused on remedying their own travails, in their case 6(?) years in the 3rd division and a division lower than their City rivals. No comparison.

The likes of SISU have a vote at FL meetings and there are several more dubious club owners in this division, L2 and the Championship. If fans can’t recognise real problems and have some empathy (could be them, if nothing else), then campaigning groups like Against League 3, Supporters Direct, etc., have no chance. Very sad.

* for the purpose of this post, not talking about the wreckage the premiershit causes for everyone

It's also about educating enough fans so they don't spout "the club would have died without us" about-to-go-bust bullshit that loyal Wombles are still having to push back against 15 years later.

Fight against the spin, keep educating away fans who don't give a shit.... until of course it's their club that's got hosed up the jacksie - and then of course the world is ending.

Keep up the good fight - good things happen!

In fairness to Sheff United fans, they had to put up with stoppages at our place this season too, probably getting a bit tedious for them.

Edit: Just seen Wilder's comments though, showing himself to be bit of an ignorant fuckwit. Probably good job he didn't take the Charlton job now.

Wilder did an interview saying he feels for Coventry fans as non footballing people are ruining there club but at the end of the day when it starts affecting us personally it becomes annoying. As much as we all would want owners like yours and Coventry gone our own team is still our priority

We will look like a proper, well drilled, well oiled machine.
We will be led by an inspirational captain leading by example.
We will have pace and endeavour all over the pitch.
We will keep a clean sheet, looking untroubled for the entire 90.
We will win comfortably and our manager will milk the applause of a grateful crowd. He will be positive and ambitious in his post match conference telling anyone who will listen how good we are and how we are a match for anybody.

This mulled wine is good shit!!!

That's class LW :)

Bet all the Blades fans are really suffering with that mere 15 mins of their life they lost last night while Coventry protested. Blades fans are the real victims something should really be done about it.

Yeah I do understand that but works both ways, our club's futures are more important to us than whether you get three points or not so it's just tough if Wilder 'doesn't enjoy it'.

I got the impression he meant it in a sympathetic way towards coventry fans not a selfish way towards himself.

Fair enough, maybe I misinterpreted that then.

Anyway, back to more important matters - we're home to Fleetwood. The few players who could vaguely be described as footballers have cried off, no doubt to protect the little darlings ahead of the transfer window.

We're heading for 12 months where we have failed to win a game when the opposition have scored - incredible!

I'm taking the lead from our esteemed professionals and even though I have tickets, I'll be crying off.

Fuck the lot of 'em.

Millwall at home tomorrow. A must win game against a tough opposition with Sheff United and Bolton closing in on us. If Wallace is out, we're getting smashed as we'd only have 1 fit CB and he's by far our worst. Hopefully he's fit and we can win.

I'm off out in Luxembourg on the last and won't be giving the town a second thought as I tuck into mulled wine and munch on greasy potato cakes.

I see Doughty, Obika and Brophy are out. Champion!

Perhaps we can nick a draw then.

Well, turns out we're still totally shit under a new manager.

We've sounded diabolical today, 4 games for Robinson now and for someone who talks a good game and likes to play attacking football he hasn't done too well, no wins and 1 goal. He needs to be seriously backed this transfer window, sadly that just isn't going to happen.

Based on my misguided hope that we would improve under Robinson!

Still believe we have the capabilities to finish in the play-offs, but Robinson needs to get the best out of the players just like Kevin Nugent somehow managed and like I said in my earlier post, needs to be backed in January and bring in a good 5/6 players.

We were back to our best again today, a fantastic all round performance from the team. Thanks Chesterfield for beating Bolton, that's a great result for us.

He's only managed two league games ffs, give him time. I bet you're one of those ones on CharltonLife who think he'll be gone if he doesn't win the next 2!

Well not quite 2-0 but still 3 points away which is rare for us. Play off places for Xmas which is more than any Dale fans would have expected given our start to the season.
I reckon Dale we will win both of the next home games and retain the top 6 place for the new year. Just wish out crowds would stop being so piss poor.

We look good. We did that today without Maddison, Anderson, Baldwin, Angol. All first team players. Very happy, starting to really find our feet now.
