The second half was entertaining considering the lack of chances. We look a much more solid outfit with Bostwick in midfield. Ball had a good debut and Maddison had a much better day. Overall a very pleasing win and hopefully more of the same on Tuesday against Oldham.

Bostwick belting the ball into Maddison's face whilst he was on the floor was a highlight.

I'd love someone like Bostwick in our midfield, looks like a total caveman but is a hard fecker and I thought played really well.

19th in L1 with one win in nine games.
My tongue in cheek comment was loosely based on the 2 games since the arrival of Gladwin and the 3 bambinos.

Admittedly starting from a low point but the last 2 games were an improvement in general play. Still crappy, mind you.

Hope I don't have to start asking you about the non league venues you are so recently intimate with.

Are we 19th? Thought we were lower! Just as we have friendly Oxford fans to keep us updated.

The man is monster. I think he eats puppies for breakfast. He picks up a lot of cautions but when he was in midfield before Baldwins injury we won 6 in a row. He moves back to midfield and we win again so hopefully we can make a push towards the play offs.

We don't sign monsters, we only sign butterflies. John Goddard who we signed from Woking looks a talented kid but he's an absolute shitebag and on a windy day gets blown off the ball unaided.

I've seen you twice this season and haven't been massively impressed, however you seem to have a good spine in your side so I wouldn't fall off my seat in amazement if you make the play-offs.

Good luck.

The football under McCann this year has been generally dreadful. It's a real throwback to 70's football some reckon. I think to succeed in this division you need a couple of players of the Bostwick mold. We have our fair share of pansies, Maddison comes to mind. He's one of the most talented players in the division but goes missing when things get tough.
