Congratulations Cheltenham, deserved champions with a top manager.

We are a fucking joke, but at least our manager isn't having to double up as ´the fucking groundsman with a shit heap of a pitch and we aren't giving out silly clappers to fans and STILL generating the atmosphere of a morgue. Oh.....

Well done Woking btw. Some of us remember winning 1-0 at your gaffe back in October 04 (Jefferson Louis special) after going 12 games without a win and looking complete turd all season up till that point. Thought we'd return the favour yesterday.

You are not going into these play offs in the best of form FGR.

What gave you that idea?

It's all part of AP's tactical masterplan, to make everyone think we're there for the taking only to suddenly hit form with THE BEAST MOWING DOWN ALL RESISTANCE as we ROMP TO PROMOTION. Or something.

Lets hope he is fined one weeks pies or whatever would hurt him most!!

We need to get all the fatties out of our club asap brabin is probably the worst manager i have ever seen at tranmere edwards had no money and no players and at least barnes tried to play football but this man is useless!!

I stopped going about a month ago when i as leaving prenton park with neckache from constantly looking up at the hoof balls we played into the channels.....WIMBLEDON WERE SUSSED OUT IN THE LATE 90S BRABIN.

I blame palios more then brabin to be fair, brabin is doing his job to the best of his (limited)ability whilst palios is weak, he should have sacked adams after york last year and brabin after the 2 defeats against lincoln when it became clear in both cases we were in trouble.

Next year will be tough for us, the top half teams are gonna recruit/ develop well and the teams coming down will have a bit of money to throw around..... We are stuck with brabins over 30 brigade who will deteriorate further..... I can see us becoming the next stockport or worse still hereford

I doubt anyone can tell when you're being ironic.
The point I was making that under Burr the players don't seem to know what they're supposed to be doing. Yesterday we played a game that excited the fans and was good to watch which it never was under Burr, who I'm afraid was a fraud.

We need to win at kiddy on Saturday. Having snuck into the conny south play-offs in stoppage time on the final day the other year, we don't need that hassle.

Agree that it's sad that the Harriers have been relegated, hopefully they won't go the same way as other Conference stalwarts like Telford United and Northwich Victoria. I have a soft spot for Welling too I must admit, we rarely lose to them.

Paul Hurst strikes again, exposed as the clueless fucking idiot he really is.

Not only has he alienated almost every single fan of the club with his bizarre 'tactics' and team selection. He's certainly alienating players now too. The sooner that man fucks off the better.

Out of order. Although I did think the jeering at him when taken off was OTT, he was bad, but so were the rest of them.

Lets hope he is fined one weeks pies or whatever would hurt him most!!

Including McNulty? Though I'd certainly like to see the fat controller sling his hook.

Can't help feeling that one of the other Gary's Johnson or Mills would have done a hell of a lot better with the players that we've got.

Doubt I'll renew my season-ticket with Brabin still in charge. The Palioi have done a lot of good things off-field, but on the park it's been a disaster. With all the anti-fan stuff coming from the club, wonder if this is a preamble to them drawing stumps too.

Despite the extra money, I don't think the likely relegated sides Dagenham and York are going to be greatly advantaged. Unsure we're (yet) in danger of becoming the next Stockport/Hereford, unless you know something else?

Nice to see the Pennock family out in force on Facebook calling FGR fans twats, fake etc.

So much negativity around the club, things are going pear shaped very quickly.

I'm baffled at all the meltdowns and whining in here from fans of teams that will be in the playoffs in 2 weeks time and potentially 3 games away from League 2.

So it's alright for members of the managers family to go on Facebook and have a go at fans?

Utter disgrace.

We wont win another game this season, the managers lost several of the players and is blaming the pitch and the fact we don't have a groundsman, and a lot of fans have had enough of his dreadful football. The atmosphere is so dead and negative, and that wont change until something changes.

FGR - out of form.
Grimsby - out of form.
Dover - ok but not exactly setting the world alight.
Likely Braintree/Eastleigh - in better form but ability-wise there's a gap.

There's nothing to choose between the four in this case so you're correct, especially in the case of FGR and Grimsby. I still fully believe that that will be the Final, and it will come down to whether Grimsby can clear the mental hurdle. Yes they hate Hurst, fine, but I still think they'll grind it out.

I'm not so sure.

Regardless of what happens Tuesday night at Halifax, Eastleigh still need to beat Tranmere Saturday and though it looks doubtful, the latter in turn, simply have to surely go out to win that game whilst there remains even a very slim chance of yet nicking fifth, and if Woking can do it to FGR who's to say they cant pick something up at Eastleigh last game of the season which could yet make that long shot happen.
Equally with Braintree going down to Wrexham Saturday that's certainly no shoe in either as yesterday proved, so a point may well do it. Sod it I will take everyone losing on Saturday as well, as that will also do it!

Do think whatever happens though, we deserve to be in there, some of these bigger clubs may mock and ridicule the Dovers and Braintrees, may expect us to roll over and have our tummies tickled when their franchise rolls into town, but as yesterday proved, we will battle and battle for each other and quite how we didn't win yesterday I will never know.

My bigger worry will come in a few weeks time, whether Dover get in and or get through the play off's and it concerns the much needed re-signing and retention of Payne, Ragget and Deverdics, or not, God help us, and even worse still, if someone puts in a bid for Miller, without them, and without him we simply wouldn't be the same team and most certainly would not be sitting 3rd/4th in the league

I think you need to be a lot more careful with your choice of language if you don't want to be mocked/ridiculed.

To my knowledge, there are no current MK Dons spawn in this division.

Ha! Even your manager knows you're a fake club with fake fans, and that "a lot" of them amounts to about 2 in total. So much for Stepford Whores FC being a class above the rest. :£:£:£:£:£:£:£

Hey B2TF, do you expect Harvey to be your manager next season?

Some Chester fans would love him back here, but not me. One of our previous chairmen, Durkin had him hanging around the club for almost 12 months like a miasma around the time that Neil Young walked. A lot of volunteers with the youth walked away as a result.

I do apologise for not being enthralled about the play offs after our manager has just put a right back up top instead of our 32 goal striker because 'he couldn't tactically fit him in'.

A team have just won the league with Danny Parslow and Harry Pell playing every week. Two players who were utterly dog shit here.

Our manager pissed away our January budget on players who were brought in soley for back up, instead of addressing issues in the first team.

We raised 100k for the budget and have the best away following in the league bar none. But we've been called spoilt by Hurst, been subject to a video from Fenty effectively blaming us for Halifax away and this week was the turn of the players to send out a 'motivational video'. Hurst has alienated almost the entire fan base now.

Yeah he's losing more and more fans by the week and even the blind faithful are beginning to turn. Personally I wanted him to stay on next season in League 2 but now he can go for me. Unfortunately I think we're stuck with him. Hell it wouldn't surprise me if he stayed even if we don't go up.

Snap with Pennock.

Have members of his family been using social media to slag your fans off, because it appears that Pennock's have.

However, if you offered me a swap I might be tempted to say yes.

Out of curiosity why not? There is quite an enthusiasm for Harvey at Tranmere and I'd be interested in hearing some of the cons. Academic as our chairs can see no wrong in Brabin.

While the play-offs are realistically over for Rovers, can still see us getting a result at Eastleigh. Of the likely final contestants, Dover seem in the best form, though as stupot says, tough times may arise even if they win, as others come looking at their talents.

Having had a day to try and fail to get over the sadness of being relegated thought I might as well sum up the match,

We played much better in the first half but in the second half we just seemed like we'd given up. Second half was all Barrow. But Barrow fans do Cook and Tomlinson ever stop moaning? All they did all game was moan at the ref and our players. Also Tomlinson needs to learn how to shoot if you go past both the last man and the keeper and still miss you shouldn't be a striker at this level.

if you look at the match highlights it was a very tight angle and did hit the post. the 1st half one that hit the post looked like it crossed the line before being hooked away. We didn't do too bad considering we had nothing to play for and had 2 central midfield players playing in defence as we had 3 defenders missing before the start and lost another inside 30 minutes

Tight angle or not he should still be burying that shot
