Will almost certainly be a draw, all eyes on Gary Johnson to see if he work his 'magic' down here again.
Think Muldoon is going to be a surprise package for us, looks a decent player.

Being brutally honest, I've been to zero pre-season games, so I will take your word for that.

Ultimately it means he'll be nailed by some clogger within three minutes and be out for the season. Hashtag the Lincoln Way.

Would be about right mate, especially as we've had no injuries in pre-season which is a first.
Went to a couple.

No idea what to expect. Rovers look brittle defensively, but have enough attacking options to get on the scoresheet, so 2-2.

I'd be surprised. The bloke's a real tryer but just didn't seem much end product. Having said that, he was playing in a team in a horrible run of form.

Only going on what I've seen scored one and set up three I believe.

Great opener,I'm gonna miss the humble earthly whit of the non league scene.
Fao Chelts and Tranmere to get out you'll need strong professionals, mentality is what you'll need to maintain a challenge. Good luck

Far too early to be going to a fifth division football match.

Had to get up at 6am and walk two miles each way to get my tickets this morning due to a posting cock-up before my train.

Why do I do this....

Tough game for us today, Altrincham outplayed us twice last season but we managed to draw both games, so expecting something similar today.

We've got a number of injury concerns, with the likes of Steve Arnold, Darren Jones and Danny Coles all definitely out, plus Rob Sinclair and Delano Sam-Yorke both needing late fitness tests. With our first choice keeper, best centre half and best midfielder all possibly out, it's going to take a good effort to get the result today at a ground we've only ever won once at.

Jonny Maxted will make his debut in goal, having looked good on trial in pre-season but the slight concern is that he's never played a senior game before having been an unused understudy at both Doncaster and Hartlepool. We're also going to need to reshuffle our defence with Charlie Clough most likely to come in, although he's not fully up to speed either.

Alty have signed Michael Rankine, who is always a pain in the arse to play against, and at the other end it will be interesting to see the battle between Jon Parkin and Tom Marshall resume. Looking forward to it.

Our record against FGR at home is decent. I actually fancy us to win today.

I've got a horrible feeling were going to lose to Bromley. Alex Wall battering us into submission.

I don't think we've lost an opening day fixture since we came down. A tough match though.

We've been an utter abortion so far. One dimensional and without personality, a little like our manager so it figures.

Cheltenham should be three up.

1 nil up at half time through Amond, should be 3 or 4 up apparently, their keeper is having a blinder, UTM. :)

0-0. Maxted the busier keeper, very little to choose between the teams overall though.

It's hot enough for there to have been a drinks break around the 35 minute mark, not something which usually happens when we play at Alty.

Been the better side this half, but still no shots on target.

Would take a draw.

Cheltenham should be three up.

We sound dodgy at the back but frightening going forward. Concerned about missing two 1-on-1s though (3 if you include the save from Munns' shot which led to him putting in the rebound).

Good to see 2 of our new boys proving they can do it in the league as well.

Liam Hearn has just scored for Lincoln too.

Boreham Wood will not make the play offs and we most certainly won't.

They offered absolutely nothing and we've gifted two goals through errors leading to 1 on 1's.

We've then conceded a 3rd pushing the game.

Fuck me they were shit though
