Can't get my head around it. We do everything right except hitting the target then have a moment of self destruct. We've already had a seasons worth of fuck ups in a handful of games.

You're winning 4-1 now by the way.

Won 3-1, didn't go today but sounded like another Mills masterclass. He will currently be doing a lap of honour as I post this.

Matt Rhead is the league's top goalscorer, just as I predicted at the start of the season.

I bet 77 euro on bet365 before start of season on Omar Bogle with odd 13. Will be big fight :bye:

Doesn't make anything I said any less true or any less relevent though does it? Thanks for pointing it out though.
Far post header again I believe. How many have we conceded that aren't far post headers or Jimmy Mackisms - about 3 isnt it? Including an OG and a pen from Rhead dramatics...

Hope I get some credit from the Grimsby fans. I predicted a 4-0 win against Boreham and a 3-0 win in today's game in the September thread. Well ok, the BWood game finished 3-1, and today ended up 4-1, but I was close enough. 2/2 right. I feel like my predictions have had a hand in helping the Mariners get back on track, no?

Now come on, give me some credit guys :cool1:

Played outstanding for the first spell of the game, went 2-0 up early on, then stepped of the gas. Good 3 points. Looking foward to going Woking, they will be a real test, they'll be there or there abouts this year. How did Guiseley score SO late???

Absolutely cruising at 2-0, then a goal out of nothing promptly made our defence fall to pieces. Managed to be leading 3-2 at half-time despite throwing a two-goal lead away.

Let Guiseley have all the ball in the second half until they equalised. Holman made it 4-3 before a bizarre decision by the referee to add eight minutes of time on, despite there being no long stoppages in the half. Of course the envitable then happened and Guiseley equalised, again.

Jones injured before the game and Caprice injured towards the end. Poku was playing RB with Sole at CM by full-time. Can we play 9-a-side vs FGR?

What the penalty was for it don't know. We were winning against the run of play till then. What if springs to mind but grimsby were better team.

Shots midfield shocking today. What homer adds I don't know. Good points walkers goal and beckles. Dan Thomas looks good to step in in goal.

Also good cafe breakfast and beers.

Awful from us, no urgency and all of our players wanted about five minutes on the ball, which in a derby game is pretty crap to be honest. As bad a performance as you're likely to come across and it doesn't exactly get any easier with Grimsby and Eastleigh next up.

No shock in a comfortable win against Chester who bigged themselves up. Didn't even fill away end for a 15 mile trip.

Close but no cigar - see my post above- we always create a goal against with an error or defence dozing off, just because GTFC haven't learnt you should have.
The serious point is that at this level the team with the least number of errors probably wins the league. And teams don't win leagues without a good number of clean sheets...

Really?

Most I knew weren't expecting much from today or to fill the away end either, odd post.
