I just remembered that it's Aldershot's game in hand on us today. I haven't looked, but I suspect they're finally above us now after a comfortable win at relegation battling Altrincham.

Gutted. We need to be beating the dross to cement a playoff spot. Only Chester have been poorer than Forest Green, but their gamesmanship worked for them. Hopefully get them in the playoffs..

Jesus, what a shambles that sounded.

Not a bad point with 10 men, they struggled to break us down only 2 shots on target. Chelts lost as well, so a good day all round.

Plus Carter can't play next week, which isn't a bad thing either.

Oh. Win our games in hand then beat Cheltenham, we'll be just 2 points behind :2thumb:

Edit: poor maths

I thought Cheltenham were meant to be good? What a bunch of idiots.

Yep, but having led so early real shame not to hold on and really take advantage of Cheltenham's slip as you feel there won't be many.
Tranmere at home was one of our poorest efforts of the season too, so if we do end up meeting in the play-offs might finally show them the side that's accumulated all these points.

Forest Green were a joke. A joke straight out of 1973, that wasn't even funny back then.

We were terrible. Anti football and Tranmere should of won, the referee needs the sack though, shocking performance from him.

Why do Cheltenham keep helping us??? You're making pennock look good!

Dover and Braintree are becoming infuriating now with their sheer inability to fuck off out of it.

Cheltenham have only won one of their last 5 they are shitting their pants big time, just as Barnet did last year.
Whichever of you 2 win the league i think it will be a case of falling over the line rather than breaking through it.

Think we might sneak a win next Friday, what with having Aldershot at home. ;)

The refs will start clamping down soon enough.

It's 2/1 for the double of Wrexham 1-0 (Jennings pen) vs them both.
3/1 Mills arms aloft.

Its our ability not inability MD. Big games coming up for us, Grimsby away and FGR at home. Get some points from those and we are in with a real chance of making the PO,s.

Until you lose your next game and all your fans have to put back on suicide watch.

Grinding out results when not playing well is the mark of champions.

DontBringBertie will be along soon to tell you how stupid you are to be full of optimism, rather than just giving up as he would have you do.........

I think Wrexham will win all their remaining games and easily win the league.

And Wrexham are three points off the playoffs whereas Grimsby were about 15 behind when you made your statement.

A slight difference.

Thought we were doing ‘alright’ at best up until the penalty and red card, no chance after that though as ten men chasing it suited Wrexham’s new style of play perfectly. They’d spurned a few chances in the first half though so probably should have already been ahead. Been saying this for a while but our two full backs are absolutely hopeless, pretty much every Wrexham attack was a long punt down the wing and neither dealt with it.

We beat ourselves but that ref, Adrian Holmes, fucking hell. Let’s just say Wrexham will be hoping to see a lot more of him.

Today was a good chance to excite the fans and make up for our previous few trips up north. But nope, once again we've been let down by our players and management. Can't wait for this season to be over and hopefully start the next with a new manager and players who actually care about the club.
Next Friday at FGR could be worse than Chester away...

With the way we've been defending away from home you should be looking for double figures. The only positive I can take from today is that we at least have 46 points on the board!

Yeah the referee, that's why we won.

Did he stop you having any shots either?
