Heard Ravas had a mare with Bromley's goal? And Sterry at centre half? It was a weird selection and not surprised we stank the place out first half.

I don't fancy us to go up if we finish 4th. Top 3 is a must.

Hard to tell, stream was varying degree of quality, looked he headed in from about 6 yards and Ravas sort of done a flop backwards attempt at a save, dunno if he was some how wrong footed or what.

Not sure what formation we started, looked like a back four to me, Sterry and Ferguson full back, Odusina/Liddle, then a midfield mess in front of them, probably Featherstone infront of the defence, three centre mids and the two forwards, didn't look good though, he can't think much of that Cooper if he can't slot straight in at CB when we have an injury there.

I think you're right, 4th or 5th we'd beat anyone at home, but going away to Stockport or having to play on plaggy again at Sutton, no shot.

Our best chance of winning play offs, is to drop down to finish 6th or 7th. Our default set up is more effective away from home. :ds:

Stockport County.
Oh look, we won by 3 or more goals again. Boring this innit........
Our forum is absolutely dead. Wanted to sit down with a bru and see what people thought of it as I didn't get chance to watch today.

This forum is quiet aswell tonight. You can tell Chesterfield lost.

Same with ours if we win, Stocky. Virtually nothing. But lose or draw to some deadbeats and the place practically exceeds its bandwidth. You can’t keep up with all the doom and gloom posts. Are all football fans like this? Is it just a social media thing?

that was a fantastic performance in terrible conditions .Scored a good goal early on. Second half we cleared one off the line but most of Chesterfields efforts missed the target anyway. Great time to kill thegame off and did it without Scott Boden too who couldnt play because of his loan. superb to see him celebrate in the stand when Billy scored our second. Bromley won and hope Notts can stop Sutton winning tomorrow.

Not over yet by a long chalk. Will be some game againstStockport for sure.

Shotsweb the same, up to 12 pages after a defeat, half a dozen or so after a win.
Must admit I’m a glass-half-empty sort , and for me it’s easier to whinge than praise, but I do try to give credit where it’s due. Which hasn’t been often recently.

I’ve said it before but we are nowhere near good enough to go up. I’m happy with where we are now if the season finished today, Infact would have snapped your hand off for it when Rowe took over and we were 22nd.

In bigger context he’s transformed our team and our results and the job he’s done has been spot on. However, we have invested heavily and need to be better next season.

We may still make the play offs tbf, we’ve 3 very winnable games coming up then 2 tougher games but if we take 9 from 9 we will go into them with a bit more confidence.

No suprise our form has dipped since we lost Hollis and Asante, they will be big missed and both out until January so we can’t rely on them next season either.

Hartlepool and Stockport are miles better then us so could do with them two clearing off out the way for a better go at it next season when Rowes had a full per season under his belt.

What have you done to Mark McGhee? I refuse to believe that he has anything to do with this!

We're just not that good when we come up against decent sides tbh. The injuries don't help and performances have definitely dropped due to it, but even before when we were winning for fun, I wasn't wholly convinced. If we can sneak into the playoffs, who the hell knows it's a totally lottery isn't it, but I'd fancy at least half the sides in them to beat us.

Next season could be interesting if we can have a huge clear out and the Trust keep the backing up for Rowe, although some aspects of his recruitment are slightly worrying

For the first time in our history (probably) we play at 4pm on a working week day today. I can’t imagine yesterday’s shenanigans (our new asst manager was sacked for making an ‘ill-judged’ comment towards one of his own players during Saturday’s game at Alty) will have done any favours for team morale - can only see a Sutton win here, to be honest.

I'm hoping for the "new assistant manager bounce"

Enjoy the points Yeovil. What manager rests the top goalscorer in a game we need something from 5 games before the end of the season.
Same manager who sends him on and brings off a defender when he's winning 1-0 away with 20 minutes to go. Maybe the guy just knows a million times more about football than YOU do, huh? Please, stop embarrassing yourself, people will start to wonder if there's something in the water in Halifax. :ds:

Ah yes that middle class mecca of Carlisle with some of the most deprived parts of the country on its doorstep.

You might yet see us next season. The traditional 'greeting' at Carlisle train station from your posh boys in wax barbour jackets munching on smoked salmon while pissed up on pimms. Anyway, lovely to see you still care about us.

I've been to much worse places than Hartlepool. At least there's a good number of pubs and a train station in close proximity to the ground.

Too many clubs now have grounds in service stations miles away from anywhere for my liking.

Nothing to see here just another 6 fingered Hills Have Eyes looking weirdo from Carlisle with an insatiable desire to stoke some rivalry with Pools.

What is it with people from Cumbria and trying to invent rivalries with teams who are miles away? We have had that exact issue with Barrow.
