Hope we get out of this league just so we don't have to play this joke of a club again. I can handle playing forest green but franchise? Fuck that!

MK will basically have the biggest budget in the league. Wouldn’t surprise me if they walked it

If Winkleman doesn’t fancy slogging it in league 2 again maybe he can have a look around for another club to steal in a higher league?
Mmm there’s a team in League One just 2 points above the relegation zone in 18th place that looks like it could fit the bill........

Nice big seats. Plenty of parking. What's not to like?
Apart from losing there every time I always preferred going there than AFC

1) The seemingly endless amount of roundabouts. No sooner have you got up to 30mph, there's another one. Repeat.
2) It takes about 2 hours to get out of the car park

Are you serious? An out of town ground surrounded by supermarkets franky and bennies and a club supported by customers and people on free tickets encouraged to be there in a failed project with less atmosphere than a morgue other than a few happy clappers chanting mk army once a half ?

The centre is a US street layout boxed off by two dual carriageways on either side, with the shopping hub at the top of it. There's then a lot of little districts outside that area that are principally like any other town.

I'll bitch and moan about the football team all day long, but it's a great place to live.

There's nothing to the place, I lived in the area for about 2 and a half years, it is soul destroying, there's more culture and history in my fridge than that generic town.

Park around Dawson Road/Clarke Road opposite the ground and you'll be off in no time.

You plastic.
Nice views from every seat. Not stuck at the back of a stand unable to see the corner before a defeat and being forced to March a long the road with crowing Wimbledon fans...

it's not even a fucking city

Good point this - why do people refer to it as a city when it's a new town? Didn't they used to have a team called Milton Keynes City as well, sure I've seen some old pics in old Cheltenham programmes from when we used to play them.

It's always been designated as a 'new city' and just hasn't been made an official City yet.

MK City died in the 1980's too, there was a newer team briefly started by some car factory but that was never going to catch on and died after a few years. There's still a youth team called MK City though, always enjoyed the games I played against them.

My SIster in Law lived in Milton Keynes until recently and one good thing about the place when we've visited her is you can find some car parks where parking is something stupid like 10p an hour or something like that, was a couple of years ago I last went so can't remember exact price but seem to think it was 10p. :£

I read wee willy winkleman's laughable statement about the relegation. What an attention seeking parasite he is.

On the plus side the MK Dons home game will see the usual swell to the coffers next season when thousands of Franchise fans come to town to roar their team on.

This is a clever tactic employed by town planners. Build somewhere that is bland and soulless, then have roundabouts everywhere, this will disorientate anyone who tries to leave...eventually they will give up, or forget what they were doing, and go home again. The same logic applies to visitors, they will struggle to find their way out and eventually stop trying, thus increasing the population figure.

Well, as Hemel Hempstead and Tamworth are never likely to get into the league it's the only chance we'll all get to go skiing before the match. I can't believe that no one else is seeing the benefits
