That first goal is of the same level as Chris Brass’s own-goal for Darlington back in 2006.

I think I'd rather listen to the wind whistling into the camera than that mock samba track they've got playing.

Sadly it was a home goal for Bury against Darlo but see what you mean.

You just knew we'd be doing cringe shit like that, apparently though it's good for Pools cos it 'does numbers' :bang:

Was literally just coming in here to post about this hilariously original banter that's been going on.

I think our club decided against it for once, but I've seen his face stuck on various Barrow photos last night. So obvious. And shit.

Even though we missed out on Messi, it was a good job we didn't lose Evatt to Tottenham after Pochettino got sacked.

This latest statement from Steve Dale is utterly bizarre and the type of thing I expect from the nutter in charge of Boreham Wood

''Finally, In a Total Unrelated Matter
To the BBC

Our Country has its pride deeply rooted from our endeavors in the war and the tenacity and the spirit of the British people, the BBC in its day helped in this keeping moral high when rationing was in place, family’s suffering unimageable pain and spirits were low.

Licence Fees

You now think it prudent to persecute the elderly many who were either in these wars fighting for our great country or have lost loved ones, many being financially challenged, at great risk of COVID and even more so as winter comes, so your thank you to them is make them pay for a License fee, why so the directors can get a pay rise related to profits garnered by screwing the elderly, or for your new executive car, IT IS TRULY DISGUSTING THAT NOT ONLY HAVE THE BBC DONE IT BUT THE GOVERNMENT ALLOWED IT

Proms

If the above was not enough, the Suits that wander the corridors of power at the BBC decide that one of our greatest events, which when watching makes you proud to be British of what we were but certainly not at what were at risk of becoming. It would now seem they have determined we can no longer sing rousing songs that bound our once GREAT COUNTRY together, again it seems the moral compass of the few control the many.ITS WRONG

I'm sure Steve Dale's intervention will change the BBC's position on these issues.

In fairness to them, it's a former step 5 ground that they took over 10 years ago and have only had the funds to make gradual incremental improvements over time. The place is a hodgepodge and they have very little space so can't just build a stand with all those facilities.

The photo of the shipping container turnstile is probably my favourite, that's also what away fans will be going through if any are permitted this season so enjoy...

Those ground improvements are a means to an end and I'm incredibly grateful to the loyal few supporters who have been working on these improvements. #Beebot has already covered the salient points about Grosvenor Vale but unfortunately with a short-term lease, the club would be stupid to spend large sums on improving infrastructure that make the ground fit for purpose in the National League when there's no security of tenure on the ground in the long-term.

This is Pools, a 'full time' professional club, begging for a friendly on twitter yesterday like we were some local park side, it was also posted on the same day we announced a 'volunteer initiative' asking for fans to fill in positions like, lottery ticket sellers, decorators, joiners, cleaners and even Hangus the fucking monkey.

What the fucks happened to us.
