The Forest Green announcer. In addition to the volume being almost deafening when he was yelling into his microphone every time they scored, I didn't particularly need to hear before the game that we were bottom of the league, 11 points from safety and are yet to win away from home this season.

The guy is an absolute tool. When they scored against us I genuinely thought he was going to have a heart attack. The sound system in the away end couldn't cope with the squealing.

Are Forest Green afraid that he might swoop down and try to steal their chips?

More likely afraid he might have scooped up a beef burger from somewhere.

"Hawks Ultras" (Shitehawk) who do not tolerate swear words from away fans. It's homophobic, racist AND sexist. Apparently.

We're losing a player who started our first ever league match and has made 157 appearances for the club. One of our most consistent performers and a top young player that has meant we've never been in the market for a new left back until this departure was known about. He was a former R&DFC youth player who moved to the new club immediately. Sam Brown, the left back with a rocket launcher of a throw is off and it's a sad day for AFCR&D.

Nobody has swooped in for him. The reason he's leaving is because he's going traveling.

Some top plaudits for him from the manager, describing him as a future captain, and hope to see him back, but it's a pretty tinpot reason to lose a player!

I don't know about you, or anyone else, but I'm quite happy that someone is taking a stand in football against racism, homophobia and sexism...given the almost complete lack of interest amongst those at the top of the game in these issues, where the main priority seems to be taking bungs.

There's a way of doing it though. If anything they're marginalising and making a joke of the issue further. Everytime they scream offensive because someone sings a chant with a swear word in it, they're just switching people off from the issue. So when they bring up something that actually is homophobic, sexist or racist then no one pays attention.

Boy who cries wolf and all that.

Add to that they're more than happy to be offensive on their twitter pages, as long as it's political propaganda they agree with.

They should be less patronising and pretentious and I might be willing to give them the time of day.

I agree with you about there being many ways to do something, and maybe they are a bit idealistic about trying to drive the swearing out of the game...it will always happen, to a degree. Maybe the fact that we, fans of other teams, are talking about the other points they make is a good thing. Thanks to the efforts of many it is rare to hear the types of abuse they highlight during a game, and clubs deal swiftly with anyone who does resort to that type of abuse. We don't live in a perfect World, but thankfully the conduct of football supporters is better than it was even ten years ago, let alone back in times like the 70's.

I'm blocked from that account. Don't know why - haven't tweeted them in months!

I'm against all three of them myself, but when there's chants that don't come under any of them and they're crying about it, you have to question what their actual game is.

There was one very isolated incident away at their gaff two seasons ago (which was sorted out amicably) and they've been on at us ever since.

Every game they're bleating on about something though and, from what I've seen/heard/read, next to none of it appears to be anything more than a bit of light hearted banter.

They just seem to have this small club syndrome where they want everybody to respect them. File Concord under the same.

Not tinpot but after the Trinity/Boston game last week, Greene said something along the lines of Trinity setting up like they were scared.

Housham's response live on a BBC Radio Lincs Show this week was to reply, "...the only thing scary about going to Boston is making sure you come out of it with the same amount of fingers you went in with".

A title of an interview, that summarised said interviewee's views.

It's not rocket science pal
Obviously it is if people don't know when to use 'have' and 'of'.

"We should have had three points", not "We should of had all three points". That's was the bit I was referring to.
