BBC Radio Lincs summariser Steve Thompson seemed to disappear for our game at Swindon on Tuesday and it now transpires that he's been suspended by the BBC until the New Year because a listener complained he used the word "handbags" when describing a coming together of players in our previous match at Accrington.

World's gone mad.

I'm not generally one to complain about this type of stuff but that's cringeworthy from the BBC. Zero self-awareness.

Christ, he said much worse when he was our manager.

Turns out it was that and also "[he's] being a bit of a drama queen…he’d have been better wearing a skirt."

As Jacob says, I'm pretty sure he's said far worse down the years - probably even over the last year or two!

Does it matter what else he’s said?

That’s not on at all.

Chester are hoping to have fans in the stadium for their home game on Tuesday night.... after previously being told by the Police that they couldn't host a drive in haloween cinema event as their stadium is in Wales.....

Just everything about this video. I am really starting to despise any news coverage the BBC does nowadays, what a waste of taxpayers money. And I love my team, but I cant stand the local accent (I am North Walian, not from the town itself, so I have that weird scouse wales accent instead)

That entire segment is just pointless.

Been covered elsewhere, but to clarify, the drive through cinema event was not covered by our safety certificate and needed a temporary events notice, which caused complications.

The stadium as a venue spans two countries but is only administered by one, wherever the offices are located and the safety certificate is issued by Cheshire West & Chester as a result. The Deva was deliberately built the wrong way around (offices, sponsors, dugouts facing the sun) so that everything important fell on the English side of the border.

And for homage to the tinpot thread, the drive through cinema did go ahead with portaloos on the grass verge! :gr:

403.

Was only a pilot, we're allowed more in each time if it goes well. Think we're allowed in about 800 tomorrow for the FA Trophy match. Then up to about 1,300 at max whilst all this is going on.

good luck! we still have no sign of fans being able to attend, and some of our fans have been trying to buy tickets for away games, naughty so and so's

Due to the league two forum being dowdy and as a professional contrarian who loathes the fact my club Harrogate Town have adopted a tin pot, debt fuelled EPL mindset on its way to being new, super club Weaver FC, I thought I would leave this here.....

A new book about Harrogate Town by 'super fan' (who's supported them since 2016), entitled 'For the Love not the Glory'

How I wrote first book about Harrogate Town's rise to English Football League by superfan Dave Worton

Don't miss out on this irony laden prose which will touch hearts and minds of all of those who have toiled away following non league club's for all of those decades....sorry four years.

The state of those lineup graphics at the start

Weymouth's commentator is one of the worst I've ever heard. Consistently calling us Halifax time and time again. Getting the goalscorers wrong and resorting to just calling shirt numbers out.

There’s currently a drive through cinema projecting a fantastic light show onto our Trophy game at Morpeth.

"An exciting night of football here at the Bob Lucas, with Weymouth looking to get on the front foot immediately" - they had literally passed the ball sideways, that was it.

A rumour doing the rounds that our current main director has been filmed by the documentary crew surrounding R&R playing table-tennis on the Racecourse pitch, as he was a junior champion.

I strongly suspect this is entirely made up. Then again who knows with our place.

The documentary is actually a real thing? I thought it was all just a piss take?
