But Dover have a far better PPG than you.

In normal circumstances Barnet getting relegated would be hilarious but they have abide by the league rules. Dover called up shop long before and have already had league charges pressed against them - they’ll either get kicked out of the National League directly or more likely suffer a points deduction for next season.

Again highlights the awful attitude some Wealdstone fans have towards us. How is a club ever getting relegated (at this level where it could spell the end of any club) hilarious? Just a ridiculous point to make. Classless.

Honestly, if you don't understand the animosity towards your club from our fans then you must have your head buried in the sand.

Most football fans would happily see their local rivals relegated.

I found Chester's last relegation quite funny.

This is the hill you want to die on? I’m sure there would be plenty of Barnet supporters who would find it funny if we were relegated and I’d have no issue with that, it’s part of football.

We’re not talking about a relegation to the Championship or L1 here, it’s a relegation to regional football which can easily put us (and other teams) out of business. Local rivals or not (I don’t deem it a 2-way rivalry tbh), I don’t think any sensible football fan wants to see clubs go out of business which the resultant impact on the mental health of supports and deterioration of the community as a result.

Surely every fan would laugh at their rivals getting relegated? Seems perfectly reasonable to me.

Hill I want to die on? This isn’t some dramatic last stance from me and I have no desire to yet again debate the reasons for your one-sided hatred of my club.

I’d argue that the celebration of teams going out of business is a part of football which needs to die out, rather than be lauded and accepted as perfectly fine and enjoyable.

A team languishing away in a division they shouldn’t really be in? A team failing to get promotion? Both instances are very different to ‘celebrate’ over relegations to regional football. I’m not quite sure how this can be argued against tbh.

Are you saying you should be immune from relegation as it might put you out of business?

Who are your rivals - Plymouth, Exeter? Both of those will be fine with a relegation to NL football. But if that relegation would put the club at severe risk of going out of business, would you really want that? I don’t think any sensible fan would tbh.

Wtf? Read what I said again.

I said if we get relegated we are likely to never return (most likely go into admin a few years down the road and a Phoenix team set up). My point was that I don’t think any sane fan would/should be celebrating that for any team.

Fair enough - fine, I’ll cite any other Middlesex non league football club who would take great pleasure in our relegation.

Believe it or not I don’t want Barnet to go under and I don’t believe you’d go under if you were relegated (and even if it did happen surely there would be some fan action to take control from TK).

Torquay, Stockport and York have had spells at Step 2 - not that it’s going to happen but I’m sure Barnet would continue to exist.

To be fair, selling your soul to TK will probably see your club go out of business before any relegation to regional football. I cannot see how under any circumstances the situation you are now in will turn out well for you.

‘Die on this hill’
‘Selling your soul’

Very dramatic bunch today aren’t we?

This is exactly my point though. TK is ruining us anyway which a relegation would hasten/all but confirm. So to celebrate or take enjoyment out of that if/when it were to happen is classless.

There's a whole list of clubs I'd laugh at for getting relegated for any number of petty reasons, let alone our local rivals.

He didn't say he thought you going out of business was funny, just you getting relegated. Of course nobody wants to see clubs going out of businees but that doesn't stop you enjoying their on field struggles does it?

Thought Barnet fans didn't care about Wealdstone? Yet you all seem to get very het up about pretty much everything their fans post.

Unfortunately we've no chance of going up, cos football genius ShayShite and his chum called it 4 games ago. Our season is over. Cuz they said so, and they're football geniuses. I wish Pete Wild was a football genius. I wish I was too. :fl:

Everyone on here (maybe not public knowledge granted) knows about the plight we’re in. Especially Wealdstone fans seeing as they watch our movements more closely than our own fans do. It’s quite clear that relegation = probable liquidation, to laugh about that specifically is classless. There’s literally not an argument against this.

I loved Luton’s plight down here for example and there’s nothing wrong with that. But if they were to have been relegated again/looked likely to fold I wouldn’t have been cheering that.

Any sane Bolton fan wouldn’t have taken enjoyment out of Bury’s demise, being another example.

A lot of Ebbsfleet fans were celebrating like they won the league when we got relegated.....its expected when it's a local rival.

Likewise I couldn't stop laughing when they got relegated by 0.002 of a point.

They will not go under. Hyperbole of the highest order.

Exactly. Apparently they don’t care about us at all. Not a jot.

You have 0 idea of the inner workings of TK’s machine.

It’s even worse than you want to imagine it!

Let's set the record straight. Back in the 80's there was a sort of rivalry between Wealdstone and Barnet. There were some fan clashes but generally our rivalry was always Enfield. Wealdstone out performed us in the League(winning the APL) and Trophy(also winning that.) Their fortunes took a turn for the worse with the sale of Lower Mead, and a steady decline in on pitch performances. Meanwhile our fortunes turned when Stan Flashman arrived and brought in Barry Fry. Yes, we rolled along with all the publicity, great teams and promotions, but Wealdstone was never really mentioned as our paths went in different directions. Enfield started their decline and most Barnet fans revelled in that. Wealdstone's fans gripe with Barnet is really only over the ground issue. Had they not run out of money, PEPF would be their home. Our gripe is with our own chairman, who really could have built a new ground in Barnet(he had planning permission) but wanted a bigger area to build his empire. Most Barnet fans don't want to be at the Hive, but at the moment we don't have any other alternative. BFC will not go bust in the near future, when the chairman has put in plans for a 50 million pound redevelopment(council has declined them) and is now building another 3g pitch ready to build the indoor 3g pitch we do have permission for. I for one is actually glad Wealdstone have re-emerged from their wilderness and hope they stay around for years to come. I prefer the hard working ethos of them, to the likes of Forest Green, Salford etc. My previous comments on here regarding Wealdstone are mainly in jest as a wind up, because i can tell the animosity in their voices towards us(which i understand) but there is no hatred from Barnet fans towards them.

The Hive and Barnet FC are under different companies. TK could easily sell the club/bin it off and keep the Hive (which is why finding a buyer for the club would be so difficult - who would buy a club without a stadium or revenue streams?). The Hive is future proof, the FC are not.
