Apparently as many as 21 National League North clubs have voted no confidence in the board with York being the odd one out. Quite damning
Any word on how others've voted? I presume this is going back to the situation of the NLN as a whole only counting for 4 votes

Jumped before pushed. Trying to save face like Taylor is/was at the PFA.

Notts County v Sutton has been moved from Bank Holiday Monday at 3pm to the next day at 5pm to satisfy BT Sports and their desire to have show back-to-back Football on a ‘champions’ league night.

Any chance that cup in Scotland that non league clubs get an invite to will happen again. I'd love a trip to Montrose.

Haven't heard any news but Stranraer is the plum tie set in the beautiful Galloway countryside

Probably will be back next year, places for the two highest finishing teams not promoted.

A lot of people seem to hate on this competition and Scottish football fans don’t like clubs from other jurisdictions taking part but I would love it if Barnet were involved. A trip to Alloa (who I’ve adopted as my Scottish team) would be brilliant, an opportunity to see who comes out of top between the Bees and the Wasps.

Part of the problem is that it was a consolation prize for failing to get promoted. We had some good games, although losing to Rangers U23s was a bit embarrassing.

I loved our trips to Airdree and Bohemians in the Scottish Challenge Cup. It was a lot of fun and I’m really glad we were in it.

We got one away game out of it and I was in Baku at the time. Typical!

I bet Bohemians away was fantastic.

Dublin was ace, even though it rained non-stop. Dalymount is a beautiful stadium. My one regret was not being able to stay over for the Ireland v Wales game the following Tuesday.

I think Dover and BW are just the tip of the iceberg. There wont be many clubs flashing the cash this Summer as the reality of Covid kicks in and Government loans stop.

Does that mean our title challenge can begin in earnest?

When we first dropped into this league there definitely seemed a bigger divide between clubs at the top and the bottom. A lot more part time clubs and many of then would start to shed players as the season reached an end and they were safe from relegation. It might get like that for a while again.

Wait, Dover were full-time?
Half & half really. they were training twice a week but those who had contracts from last season & refused to take a pay reduction were full time - in wages at least

Now we'll see how good a manager Garrard is. They look like they've underachieved this season albeit it's down to drawing nearly half their games.
