Board update from Wealdstone - sounds like we're really caught in between a rock and a hard place, only the players and management will be paid members of staff from the end of the month.

The club will be streaming all home matches at a cost of £9.99.

Edit: Being able to watch the game inside the social club adjoining the ground and not outside in the fresh air makes a mockery of current government policy.

Fear not, we have announced a streaming service. £10 per match but you can opt to pay £15 or £20.

Come and watch the famous Deadpool FC.

County announced we'll be streaming games (albeit in an indirect way) for £7.50

The Club is planning to stream all home games next season whilst these restrictions remain in place and all paying season ticket holders will receive complimentary streaming access (normally £7.50 per game).

That's still well below the price that your average ST works out per game; I presume they'll offer something else to up the value at a later date.

Predictions?

I'll go Notts County to win it.

Boreham Wood, Wrexham, Stockport and Solihull for Play Offs

I know nothing about anything though as I'm sure the forum is well aware of by now.

We're all playing for second place.

Can't see anyone stopping $tockport and their remorseless pursuit of the title. They'll stop at nothing.

You've made some good signings. I do think you'll be in the mix.

One of the shit clubs in and around London will have picked up 11 "ballerz" from Hackney Marshes too and that said club will also be up there.

We haven't got the squad or the budget to make any kind of playoff challenge this season, more likely to finish 17th than 7th.

Bottom 3 is about right though, think Sutton will also struggle.

Not sure about new signings but Alty were a miles better team than Kings Lynn last season.

only thing that will save us is this is our 7th season this time around & having that experience.

I swear Alty almost always finish towards the bottom end of the table when they're in this league, and there's always one team who have just come up who surprise everyone with a top half finish so I'm backing that to be King's Lynn this time round.

We could struggle based on the car crash that has been our pre season.

We will be slow starters for sure given how far behind everyone else we seem to be.

Not sure about new signings but Alty were a miles better team than Kings Lynn last season.

Snapshots I guess and we only played Alty once (at the time when we were consistently letting in 2 and seeing how many we could get at the other end!) , maybe the wheels would have come off at the Walks in a full season, maybe not, as you could equally say we got knocked off our stride by the weather pre-lockdown rather than anything else (wins against Boston x2 and York post Christmas must have meant something was going OK).

That said, I would bite your hand off for 10th this season, we have added to the squad but whether it has strengthened us in the areas we needed or they are just players we could get (King = local) is open to debate. As in the past couple of years we still look like a side that will see goals at both ends of the pitch so much will hinge on whether we can still create and convert chances at a higher level.

We'll be down here next season, if we happen to survive our winding up order later this month.

Nah, you're not allowed. The league is already 95% teams from the South East.

We'll take Oldham please.

I really dont know how we will do this season,.. we are usually poor starters plus a couple of keys players got injured pre-season so not expecting great things to start, ..but suspect once we find our feet we may surprise a few people.
I think Kings Lynn will do OK, they have decent manager and squad and plenty of money behind them too.

Apart from the obvious choices for top 5 teams, I wonder what effect covid will have this year, maybe some big surprises all round ?

If that happened then we might end up saying goodbye to yet another club. Probably end up replaced by one of those non-descript cockney overflow teams. No thanks

Why does it matter if we’re not allowed into the grounds?
