I believe the NL rules state that away clubs have to have 10% of the attendance or 600 depending which is the largest. How that fits in within Covid goodness only knows.
SM capacity is over 5000 and home fans fill less than half so plenty of room.
They will make £300k by allowing 2000 reds in question is will they be allowed to?

If the NL are allowing teams to play silly bollocks and use the Covid card this early then they’re setting a really dangerous precedent for themselves. Absolutely no logical excuse a game can’t be played and why away fans can’t attend.

If Paul Mullin picks up an injury, our whole squad will come down with long covid.

Unless they’ve changed it since the 19/20 season, the absolute max you get is about 950 or something. We sold that out really quickly and there was never any suggestion of any more.

Worse still, if Deadpool succumbs to it your season ticket holders will have to go back to supporting Liverpool

We took 1500 in 2018 but that was pay on the day it is a relatively short distance for us ( under 2 hours) as most of our trips are miles away

Must’ve just decided they didn’t like the look of us then!

Just been reading about 52000 fans expected at St James Park with 3000 West Ham fans this weekend. We really are in a pub league

Wrexham would have 30,000 there.

Uhhh... every one of those 2,000 Wrexham fans would need to be spend £150 to generate £300,000 for Solihull. That would be one hell of a session.

I expect Solihull are jacking up the prices of everything knowing the oil rich Welsh are coming to town.

Big year for Hurst, Ipswich went badly and he couldn't keep you up last year. Not saying relegation was his fault but he could do with a good start to the season.
He's been harshly done by in both his last jobs. Started poorly with Ipswich admittedly, but was sacked way too soon. If you look at the players that have performed in their squad since a few of them are players he signed. Then at Scunny, started slowly but just as they started looking alright they got rid of him. He's needed time at all his jobs (can't comment on Ikleston and Boston though) to get going, so I'm not holding my breath regarding a strong/fast start. As long as we can keep in touch with the playoffs and then I won't be panicking.

Nah, that's just Boreham Wood and King's Lynn. The latter will have another of their £15 commemorative programmes available for when Wrexham come to town.

If Bootlegger is there then don’t rule it out.

not strictly true

if you get pinged you dont have to isolate if you are double jabbed however you do need to get tested ASAP. then if you test positive you still have to isolate
You're advised to get tested but it won't actually be compulsory.

His start was so bad at Ipswich he was always going to go. I thought Scunthorpe were hasty and should have given him longer.
Suppose it depends on how patient your new owners turn out to be.

My main issue with Hurst is he often makes the same errors multiple times over, our last season in NL was ironically one of our worst IMO. People look to fantasise over Podge & Bogle but forget that he regularly broke up the partnership and we very nearly fell out of the play-offs all together.

Towards the end of last season I got a spark of confidence because the team that finished the season didn’t deserve to go down. However, Hursts tactics probably finished us off in the end, far too many times we played for a 1-0 and it resulted in a draw. His failure to bring in a goal scorer (or one that even looked like scoring) and bringing in LJL & Payne instead was the hammer blow.

He’ll get time but I’ve no doubt we’ll see exactly why opinion is so divided on him extremely quickly.

Going down was the worst thing to happen for the new owners and Hurst.

If we stayed up they would be given time to rebuild and do everything Fenty never did. Now our fans just expect us to steamroll to promotion and anything less than winning 3-0 every week will result in the idiots calling for Hurst to go and questioning why our owners aren't paying 6 figure fees for players.

I think the number of people who think we’re going to steamroll to promotion is minimal. There is a weird contingent on The Fishy questioning the owners but I’d say no more than 10 idiots.

The owners will give loads of time so I’m of the opinion that we just strap in, I do wish Hurst will finally learn from his errors down here last time though or it’s going to be a longer flight than last time.

Don’t worry mate, we have them at our place too.

After we sacked Ardley last season and appointed a new coach, we lost/drew a few and our Danish owners were accused of ‘sucking all the fun/life from the club’, despite saving it from bankruptcy and funding it heavily during the pandemic.

A few weeks later we were scoring for fun and all was well again.

However if we lose at Barnet on Saturday I fully expect a minor meltdown.

It’s just the way it goes.

Stockport fans.. have you received any ticket details from us yet about our game? I'm guessing you'll get a decent allocation if you'll think you will sell it I'm expecting over 1000?

They’ve just given us 800 tickets in the uncovered part of the stadium, which wouldn’t be so bad if they hadn’t cried to the NL asking for our Monday bank holiday game to be re-arranged because they kicked off an entire 2hrs 20 mins after us on the Saturday.

Played it as though it was about the players when clearly it was all about stopping any large away contingent.

Worst bit is we accepted the request

I haven't seem anything about Away tickets from Solihull yet, they are trying to put together a hilarious video about us again no doubt.

Taking the opportunity to take this comment back now in case the rumour of a bout of covid in our camp comes true
