Just waiting to see if the Administration rumours are true, it’s like gasping for a pint.

Real shame to see it come to that with Scunny if that were to be the case. Have to admit from the outside looking in it seemed with Swann that takeover bid was just biding for time than anything real.

We’ve got the please turn up on Saturday going out on social media.

You’ve got the season ticket money, you’ve £23,000 at least from York Fans paying at the gate, what does it matter if anyone turns up? I’ll be at Boston Town not that Circus.

Stockport County.
Looks like a entertaining day in the Vanarama top flight. What a league. There will be twists and turns galore this season. I miss it and I think our players do too.

Well the sheep in our support are happy that we got a crowd of 3,500(probably more York fans than us) and have TWO, that's TWO points from two games.

There was also a mini protest at the Doncaster Road End, that's been ridiculed by the sheep because we should turn up and pay through the nose for that shite it seems.

You were unlucky today by far our worst performance of season.Having both centre backs suspended and injured made us look awful at back.
That Arter ran the show and looked a good player.
Got to say that is one of the protests ever seen, might of well not bothered.
Anyway hope you get a new chairman and get the club moving forward again.

How many did you bring? Seen 1200 Yorkies, also 400 free tickets handed out which doesn’t surprise me.

Apter is a class above.

Read about the tennis ball thing on our Forum from one of the Sheep, blaming it on some youngsters there to cause trouble. The ones who you was claiming bringing the atmosphere last season…

That’s our problem. It’s more important for some of our “fans” to say look at me, I have some influence in the club, we could be in the Lincolnshire league for all they care but get behind the team you morons zzzzzzz.

We sold 1150 on early bird deal plus pay on day.Not that many spare seats so 1200+.
Just glad to play at clubs with a railway station.
You had 10 embarrassing 14-18 year trying to cause trouble but landlady and 1 female bar staff chased them out of pub near ground.
You seemed to be up for new manager and hopefully will turn it round, need to protect proper clubs like Scunthorpe.

Sounds so much like us in the early days of our protesting against the Lemsagams. The first protest was attended by about 30 people. Then supporters groups formed to give fans more of a voice and organisation. Soon a few ‘rebels’ had become larger in number and more vocal.

Despite all that was going on and the obvious need for change, there were still those who believed we should just be grateful to have a club (even though we wouldn’t have had one for much longer without the recent change of ownership) and there were still a handful of people belittling fans’ efforts to protest because they were having their bellies tickled by the Lemsagams. Those people are now well known to the larger fan base and let’s just say, unwelcome at BP.

Really hope you get your situation sorted. Ultimately fans can only do so much but a coordinated protest movement to raise the profile of your demise in the media etc is where you can make a difference

We have a list of club stooges already. They've tried to ridicule the two lads who have organised the most recent protests.

We won a game yesterday. 2-0 down at half time and the resigned acceptance(wasn't there, was watching a South Lincs Derby) to a belter from Lavery and a 3-2 comeback win.

Nice but the results aren't the full story, as ever.

Point away at Torquay. Listened to it on Radio Devon, Scottish commentator and local co-commentator which made it interesting(unlike Humberside, they didn't go to the Exeter or Plymouth games for updates).

A few were targeting a win but when you concede in the first few minutes, that's not going to happen and we won't score 2 away that often.

Impressive performance from York yesterday.
Mr Askey win ratio is above 50% which is incredible with the team he inherited last November.

See York moved up into the playoff positions now. Great to see for JA. With his track record in the conference I would expect York to be around there at the end of the season as well. Seems from a distance Alex Hurst doing well for himself recently.

Alex Hurst is a very good player just needs to be more consistent.
Askey is doing a great job and best manager we have had for along time.

Askey gone from York. Wonder what’s gone on there as looked like he was doing a perfectly good job for a first season back up. Think York may end up regretting this.

Absolutely ridiculous, the club was moving in right direction and then chairmen ego got in the way.
One way trip back to dog and duck league coming.

From the outside, it seems baffling for York to get rid of Askey, a proven manager at this level. Sounds like a lot of unhappy York fans looking at the media. Glen Henderson has a lot of bridges to build and rabbits to produce methinks.

All I know is a couple of the chairmen JA worked under previously were some of the absolute worst in Norman Smurthwaite with us and Alkadi at Macc. The York chairman must have really been going some to have a falling out to make it untenable as he was able to just crack on perfectly fine under them two.

Usually when a manager is sacked you don’t see this level of anger at the decision from a clubs fanbase. Tough job to win people back over after this. JA by my reckoning could walk into a significant number of jobs in the conference and L2 and instantly make those teams better so the likes of Oldham or Crewe for example should be beating his door down.

Yeah, I worry that we'd be in your boat next season if we do go down. You going to the regionals looks absolutely nailed on.

I wish he'd have to come to Pools.

i'll believe it when it changes hands. The "we needed to get the wages paid" makes me think they wanted/needed to get a big crowd in for the Notts County game on Saturday.

Anyway there will be a few pissed off this afternoon.
