i'll believe it when it changes hands. The "we needed to get the wages paid" makes me think they wanted/needed to get a big crowd in for the Notts County game on Saturday.

Anyway there will be a few pissed off this afternoon.
Hope it all works out for you,I looked at Scunny with a bit of envy a few seasons ago.
Similar town to Hartlepool, stuck in the middle of nowhere, similar size population, kicked in the tits economically, but you managed a few Wembley appearances & got to the Championship.
Where I imagine all your problems started.

My team Chester FC have been eliminated from 4 cup competitions (FA Cup, Cheshire Senior Cup, FA Youth Cup & FA Trophy) all on penalties. Credit to the youth team however as they actually won two shoot-outs in proceeding through 6 rounds of the Youth Cup before losing in the 2nd round proper to a full time team after extra time.

Desperately sad to see this be done to you by Swann. Hopefully there can be a way out of it for Scunny.

Did I read right Smurthwaite has been sniffing around? Can only hope that isn’t the case with you guys as he would just continue on with Swanns work.
Rumour unconfirmed - suspect made up.

I expect this to go the usual way, we will have our day out in court, money will be found from somewhere and we plod on.

Good luck Scunny and let’s hope it’s nothing more than just rumours.
