Altrincham vs Boreham Wood
Chesterfield vs Weymouth
King’s Lynn Town vs Wrexham
Maidenhead United vs Dagenham and Redbridge
Notts County vs Solihull Moors
Southend United vs Woking
Stockport County vs Bromley (5:20)
Torquay United vs Dover Athletic
Wealdstone vs Barnet
Yeovil Town vs Eastleigh

Big game at Meadow Lane for a number of reasons. Most importantly, two teams in good form and on the edge of the promotion race.

Then it’s Neal Ardley’s return. It’s a slightly weirder return of an ex-manager than normal, with NA having only left earlier this year but not managed us in front of fans since March 2020, and having taken us to a play-off final since then. I think and hope he’ll get a good reception, although that brings its own awkwardness.

We’re also doing a cheap ticket offer, so there’s an outside chance it might break the record for the biggest ever National League attendance. I think we’ll fall just short, but it’s possible with around 10,000 having been sold so far. A five-figure attendance at this level would be some achievement on its own.

All set up for a 1-0 away win.

God I hope we win. The Ardley fanatics will be unbearable if not. I also hope he gets a good reception, but I think he’ll want to avoid defeat and in classic Ardley style we’ll see a low scoring draw.

Grimsby's turn to receive 3 points from the charity located at the Rec. Only question is how many will they put past us?

Well we've blanked in three of our last two matches and looked utterly toothless in two of them, so we won't be putting too many past you. Can't help but feel Wrexham have stitched us up by spanking you, could have just done a 2-0 or something. You might wake up a bit and be more up for it at the weekend now.

Sister's wedding on Saturday so will be the first Southern away match of the season I'm missing.

Wrexham had their first choice strike force missing and still put 5 past us. We're so weak from set plays that if someone has a half decent long throw or can take a corner then you'll be fine

Okay well that's encouraging as Alex Hunt to Luke Waterfall is about as good a corner as you're likely to get at this level so hopefully we can force a few.

Hopefully pushing 3,000 in at the Vale on Saturday, clearly it means a lot from our side to get a win vs. Barnet. The side I imagine will be unchanged from the win vs. Grimsby (assuming Dronfield is fit) - no competitive football in two and a half weeks, we'll find out very quickly on Saturday whether that rest has done the players a wonder of good or left them jaded.

With 10 players out the injured Chesterfield March on against the might of Weymouth.

The good news is Weston appears to be nearly fit again, Grimes is back from suspension and Jack Clarke is getting nearer and nearer to being involved.

I expect the line up will be something like:

Loach
King Kerr Grimes Croll Whittle
Oyeleke Kellerman
Khan
Payne Tshimanga

Danny Rowe’s illness still not resolved seemingly, fingers crossed it’s nothing serious.

Sorry to intrude in the NL chat, but I think you will find that the game of the day is up on the Lancs coast, at Wesham, where little old Brackley go head to head with big guys AFC. Either would hold their own in a division headed by BorehamWood, the challenge is getting there.

Away again. 16 games in all comps this season and 11 of them have been away. We're getting travelled out of contention.

Granted 1 of those was meant to be a 'home' cup tie but was played at Nantwich.

Our turn to have a weekend off. If you could kindly not all win that would be great.

Never heard of either
As for Notts, Ardley will respect the point.

Stockport County.
Looks like it could be a great attendance at Notts.

All for the return of big Neal Ardley too. Burchnall could never.

Rumours Ardley's going to take the mic of the announcer and say a few words. "Your job now is to get behind your new manager"

Will be interesting to see if Notts County can break the record.
I doubt it's something we at Wrexham could ever do whilst we have a three sided ground.
And hopefully by the time we get a fourth side we won't still be down here (though we probably will be)!

I reckon this one will be just under, but we’ll get it later in the season against Grimsby or Chesterfield with the help of a big away following.

The game against us seems likely if we can put a run together. We'd bring a few thousand to your place, considering it's the day before a bank holiday. I've already got my hotel booked.

I’d have you down for fewer than the other two, but you never know. I mean you can all have what you want at ML realistically, but it’d need 3k+ probably to get the overall crowd big enough. Home crowds would probably be bigger for those two as well being kind-of derby games, particularly Chesterfield.

Must be pretty confident we’re going to get it. 0-1 definitely incoming.

Good effort. Has to be said, there’s a better feeling around the club than I can remember for while. The home crowds so far even at normal prices have been great for us.

Just goes to show, it doesn’t matter what league you’re in if it *feels* like you’re heading in the right direction.

Big game for us this week. One that is winnable for sure. Murphy picked up an injury last week if he is out we could have big problem with who is gonna put the ball in the net

well we can't at the moment, with crowd segregation requirements our maximum is less than 10k isn't it?

That said getting 11k due to 5 pound tickets doesn't really count. Why not give away 15000?

Having that many on the gate is a recipe for disaster, surely.

1-0 Solihull written all over that game.

Big pressure on Notts now, with all eyes on Meadow Lane. Can they deliver?

Ardley to attempt to ‘respect the point’ and grind out a 0-0 only for big Kyle Hudlin to nod home a set piece in the 95th minute and send the biggest ever NL crowd home unhappy.
