Tshimanga will go to Posh in January for an ‘undisclosed fee’, there has never been a more certain transfer in the history of football. They signed Harry Taylor from Barnet for a fair old amount so Chesterfield will at least get a decent amount of cash. The only question will be whether or not they manage to reinvest it successfully.
Haha it really is isn't it, it's nailed on. As long as Rowe is gaffer I'd have no qualms with us accepting a bid and reinvesting elsewhere, his recruitment so far has been pretty spot on.

Tshimanga’s going nowhere lads, and if he does, it’ll be for an astronomical figure in non league terms and I’ve absolutely no doubt that our board would reinvest a big bulk of that back into our transfer budget. With JR’s track record on signings and eye for a player at this level, I think that would result in some very good players coming in in January.

Tell be honest though, if Asante rediscovers his pre injury form after a couple of weeks training / building match fitness up, our ready made replacement for Tshimanga (if he is sold in Jan which there’s absolutely no guarantees around) is already in the building.

Anyway, not sure why any league 1/2 clubs would be looking at Tshimanga anyway, after all he’s just a penalty merchant ain’t he? Just going off what jacobncfc told us all in the summer!? Aged well that one did…

All this Tshimanga talk is giving me flashbacks to when jacobncfc told us all he was a penalty merchant in the summer!? Aged well that one did anyway!

What I actually said was that he’s a penalty merchant AND a flat track bully. Considering he’s got four penalties so far and eight of his fifteen goals have come in three games against ten-man Weymouth, King’s Lynn and pre-Brennan Barnet, I’m not sure I’ve been totally proven wrong yet. But I will concede that he’s currently scoring enough that any scrutiny of who they’re against is futile. ;)

There we have it then, the proof that we aren’t totally reliant on him and all he does is score against the shit teams^^

Those calling us Tshimanga FC best have a rethink cos Jacobs absolutely crushed that theory

I think he’s similar to your team in general to be honest. Done all you can ask so far but not yet proven it against the better teams. If I had to predict I suspect you both probably will end up doing so.

Our last eight are Southend, Torquay, Kings Lynn, Weymouth, Dover, Aldershot, Dover, Alty and Maidenhead.

If we can maintain the 4 point gap to Chesterfield going into that the title is ours IMO.
Have you never heard of the phrase "getting Devonshired"?

So to sum up, you’re very confident he’s going nowhere unless he does?

It was actually his brother Jack. Harry is still with us. Signed for 500k but could rise to 1 million with add ons which I’m sure a lot of them was met with them going up last year

I suspect Solihull are a very tough nut to crack at home. Their defence is slow and lumbering so got shown up a bit on our big pitch, but I remember their ground being a really small, tight affair which probably plays into their hands.

It’s weird that Hudlin can’t seem to get a start for them after being linked with a big move all summer. He’s an amazing spectacle.
Solihull beat us 1-0 at their place. If your used to playing on a big pitch you'll know the difference. The only team in the top half we have lost to so far.

.....Halifax have been in around the play offs for the last few years, I don't think it's a major shock they've all started well.
There's been visible progression each season under Pete Wild (who, unlike the 2 clowns, I've backed all the way) This season there's been a step change in the level we're at. We're ready. Expect a Barrow-like charge for the title in the New Year. You've been given fair warning. :bdick:

No chance Chesterfield are getting £2m for a 5th tier striker. Vardy went for less than a mill and that'll be used as a yard stick forever more, I reckon. It'll come down to whether or not their board are willing to turn down £1M should someone come in with that amount. A board that has any aspirations of getting anywhere near breaking even/turning a profit at this level would accept it.
? Vardy went for a £million. Indeed he was the FIRST to move out of non League for that price. :£

Taking that as a personal attack. ;)

Although Halifaxgate is proving to be a big turning point for us in the end.

Nah he’s going nowhere if some of the things being said on this board are to be believed… £600k max we’d get for him I think I read somewhere on here? Should that be the case, thanks but no thanks… promotion is worth a lot more than that.

I was alluding to the fact that he’s only getting sold if someone comes in with a ridiculous bid, which is a big IF considering the financial state of some EFL league 1 and 2 clubs following Covid

No just saying their pitch is probably not as big as the one your used to playing on.

I'm glad you've used it to move forward. Still the most euphoric moment I've ever experienced in that ground.

Keep that place warm for us till we play our game in hand won't you ;)

So 1st Jan, Peterborough (Or Oil Money Wrexham) put in a bid for him.

Chesterfield rightly reject it, but Tshimanga isnt happy and wants to progress his career further, so he downs tools. Doesnt perform to try and force a move through, and gets dropped from the first team. results take a hit and you slowly start to slide down the table.

Last day of the transfer window and the manager is fed up with his attitude, another bid comes in, lower than the first ones, but you feel obliged to accept it otherwise you have an unhappy camper for rest of the season. however accepting that bid so late on means that you are in a mad scramble to replace him, and you end up with Joe Quigley....

Its happened oh so often. You wouldnt be the first and you wont be the last.

‘Kabby Wrexham have bid for you, if you go you may end up playing NL football next season too, but if you stay and we don’t go up and a league club bid for you in the summer - we will let you go to further your career’. I don’t think we’d sell to anyone in this league and it wouldn’t make sense for the player either in terms of career progression.

The Peterborough scenario though fair enough.

Or he could just get off the coach on the way to an away game, it’s happened before.

the Wrexham example was just partially tongue in cheek, but if we improve before Jan window then we could be in the same position Fleetwood were all those years ago, flash the cash and buy competitors best players

Mad to think Tshimanga was at Yeovil for half a season and didn't play a single second.

Definitely searches his own name on Twitter. Man is embarrassingly obsessed.

Hopefully they'll be flushed down the shitter and we will never have to go there again after this season.
