Right, I'm feeling lucky today and I've had a look at it so I'm putting it out there that if we win our last 7 league games, we win the league. Simples.

Oh and GTFCfish get your forum blokey to update the predict the league formula, it's all fucked for the Conference. Ta.

Probably get turned over by poverty stricken Wealdstone now.

You’re Hartlepool, you’re essentially us. Going up is not the sort of thing that happens.

Stockport are definitely winning the league, it's pretty much a certainty now as Sutton can't afford it and Stockport are absolutely minted. Who joins them is the interesting part. Sutton will bottle it in their first play off game (can't afford it), Hartlepool and Wrexham don't do promotions, clubs below Wrexham aren't very good and neither are Notts County. Straight shootout between Torquay and Chesterfield in my opinion.

The amount of money Stockport should ensure they win the league. In addition they have some easy fixtures left.
Play offs are a lottery and pressure games and at the moment no club is coping with the pressure consistently.

Stockport have the easiest run in, apart from Torquay (a) they only have the easy beats left to play.

Stockport County.
We lost home and away to Weymouth. Case closed.

I'd be happy with 2nd or 3rd.

Still think Sutton are going to win it, couple of potentially tough away fixtures to overcome but the rest especially at home look like easy wins, they have also still have two walkover games v Barnet.

It'll be fascinating to see how Challinor's bottle holds up now he has one hand on the trophy. He'll be practicing the trophy lift in the mirror as we speak.

The title for me is between Sutton or Stockport.
Pools will finish top three & i fancy us against anyone in the play offs.
Apart from the stuffing from Torquay(we're a vastly improved side now) our record against the other top teams is excellent.

Some nice stats from last night around Jordan Davies' hattrick.

Its the first first-half hattrick by a Wrexham player since Juan Ugarte got three at Stockport in April 2005. Juan Ugarte also got 5 up at Hartlepool that season in a mental 4-6 win. Before we were all non-league tinpotters.

He got 3 at our place too. Think you won 4-2 maybe

The last two games we've handed out batterings to sides that came out and attacked us. It's those that shut up shop we struggle with.

Apparently he got 4 at your place. I think he got 4 hattricks that season (two 3s, a 4 and a 5), all away. In fact he scored 1 goal at home and 21 away that season.

The rumours were we signed him as a favour to Liverpool, he was big friends with Xavi Alonso from their time in youth football and at Sociedad and Rick Parry, whos son was in our academy, put us onto him. I think he stayed in digs at the Parrys as well initially.

You are right thinking about it. Definitely one of those performances that stands out. I can think of 2/3 opposition players who have been roundly clapped off by our fans before after tearing us a new one, he was one of them, Leigh Griffiths for Wolves was another.

We signed Chris Llewelyn on the strength of that game.

They have 3 games in hand on you and a pretty straightforward run in. The predicted table is weighted based on difficulty of opponents.

I still think we'll make the play-offs, probably finishing sixth. Wildly erratic and inconsistent, but we don't have to win that many really. That said, we have still got to play both Eastleigh and Bromley twice, which could open a door for either of them.

we do have to go to Stockport and Chesterfield agreed. However we are pretty good against teams around us. We won at Sutton and Wrexham before that, won at Hartlepool too and drew with Notts.

Yep he was brilliant to watch that day.

Craig Davies for Vale as well when they put 5 past us at Saltergate...then we went and signed him.

We have a tough run in. Halifax and Bromley both home and away. Hartlepool and Wrexham both away. Torquay at home, plus a few games against also rans meaning we're playing twice a week for the rest of the season bar the last couple of weeks. We'll do well to last the pace.
