What a week a for Maidenhead, first they beat second in the league, then they beat the top team in the league, albeit with a homer referee who waves play on when our players go down in the tackle but gives a free kick when theirs do. Like somebody said, they can't get it up for the minnows but they love playing the REAL teams. Green still hobbling badly at the end despite coming off midway through first half, must be a doubt for Tuesday night
The NL comes at you fast.

Can Chesterfield handle the pressure of being top or will they bottle it like Halifax?

We’ll that, was fucking atrocious.

I’m baffled by the team selection and the style of play. Didn’t try and play any football today, just launched it long to Quigley all game and it really didn’t work. Tshimanga anonymous as a result, midfield non existent because we missed them out all game, bet Khan’s got neck ache tonight after watching the ball flying over his head for 90 minutes.

Very strange decisions from Rowe today… Grimes dropped from the whole squad, aswell as Asante playing midfield (yes you read that right). Huge overreaction to the Maidenhead defeat in my opinion. Sooner we get back to what we’re good at the better.

Also Maguire, fucking terrible footballer living off his name and the fact his brother is sightly famous. How the hell was he captain today? If he’s the leader the players are looking at on the pitch no wonder they were uninspired.

Didn’t Grimes and Rowe clash on Tuesday?

As a Halifax fan, I was thinking this, thought you had to be a proper club for devonshiring
To take place. Our lack of depth killed us today. Players out due to illness, subs that were to ill to come on. Had backs playing up front. Our two best midfielders getting injured
or out sick. Essentially had 13 fit players and our keeper was out as well.

Or our wheels could just be now falling off, like chesterfields.

Stockport to win league at a canter now..
I thought something must be up as we could not believe how poor you were for a top of the table team.
Really comfortable afternoon for Maidenhead and I rarely say that.

Called Stockport as title winners during the Bolton game so all you bandwagoners can piss off.

As for us, it seems like one step forwards two steps back. Hurst has to shoulder some of the blame for today agreed. Crocombe fuck up for the goal though. We just don't seem capable of getting anything from these tight matches. Bromley being shithouses again, really hope we get them in the playoffs if we get there.

County fans getting a bit cocky now, singing Arthur Brownlow and everything. Aside from the two goals it's not been that great

And some of us backed Stockport the day DC rocked up! :£

By all accounts Grimes had a poor game and Rowe said a few choice words to him. But he has been our best centre half all season and to drop him after one poor game I think is way over the top.

If that’s what’s happening now then I don’t wanna see Maguire anywhere near the next match day squad cos he is garbage. Let’s not forget he was a mainstay in those first two seasons we were at this level when we almost went down twice, a myth of a footballer.
