BT commentators obsessed with an offside that doesn’t exist for our second goal.

Also obsessed with Rooney being NL player of the year

No mention of him not being in the side due to not actually being very good

The commentators paid up members of the Rooney hype machine.

He’s not playing cos he’s crap and can’t press,

I'm glad we broke through then because the commentators were just about to big up Virgo's mate Scott Rusk

By all accounts Grimes had a poor game and Rowe said a few choice words to him. But he has been our best centre half all season and to drop him after one poor game I think is way over the top.

If that’s what’s happening now then I don’t wanna see Maguire anywhere near the next match day squad cos he is garbage. Let’s not forget he was a mainstay in those first two seasons we were at this level when we almost went down twice, a myth of a footballer.
I think we need to go back to basics for a bit... Rowe is better when he's got 63 injured players so he's forced to play a settled side

The funny thing is he’s always terrible when these two and BT turn up as well.

We’ll that, was fucking atrocious.

I’m baffled by the team selection and the style of play. Didn’t try and play any football today, just launched it long to Quigley all game and it really didn’t work. Tshimanga anonymous as a result, midfield non existent because we missed them out all game, bet Khan’s got neck ache tonight after watching the ball flying over his head for 90 minutes.

Very strange decisions from Rowe today… Grimes dropped from the whole squad, aswell as Asante playing midfield (yes you read that right). Huge overreaction to the Maidenhead defeat in my opinion. Sooner we get back to what we’re good at the better.

Also Maguire, fucking terrible footballer living off his name and the fact his brother is sightly famous. How the hell was he captain today? If he’s the leader the players are looking at on the pitch no wonder they were uninspired.
 Rowe isn't the Messiah?

Just on the way back from Chesterfield - fantastic defensive display to secure a huge away point. Think they'd scored in their last 17 in a row so to keep a clean sheet was impressive. They had quite a few half chances but only really Quigley's in the first half was a sitter.

Need to follow it up with 4 points from Southend and Weymouth though

You won't see Shayshite or AJS again till we've won again. You should know this by now. :ds:
I think you may be right.

Let's run through what went wrong today based on Wild's post presser

Johnson and Slew (both key) were Ill didnt travel..

Summerfield woke up looking like a ghost apparently so was on bench as a token gesture

Spence had a tight hamstring again on the bench as a token gesture

Warren went off ill at half time

Green left the ground on crutches

Sounds like we has grounds for a postponement today but were too nice to use it. Hope it doesnt cost us

My dear fellow, of course I'm right. One thing I can NEVER be accused of is hiding from an adverse result, I will ALWAYS turn up to "face the music". How many of the tossers on here can say that. Not many. :ds:

There is such a thing as living a life. I wasn’t at the game so can’t comment about the performance but as soon as I saw our lineup I knew we were going to struggle. Sounds like a really bad illness has gone through the squad and forced us to play square pegs in round holes.

Good win for Maidenhead regardless though, can only beat what’s put in front of you. Congratulations

Yet another game he couldn't quite get to, huh? He's on here constantly on the coat tails of the the teams success, he tries hard to present himself as an authority on The Shaymen and a regular fan who takes the up and downs in his stride like he's supposed to, but how many games has he actually been to? I'm still 90 miles from home crawling up the M1, I get off my arse to actually SUPPORT this team, I see them at their best and at their worst. When I speak about my team, I KNOW what I'm talking about. :bdick:

The game's not really started this half, disappointed we haven't pushed on and scored more after that early flurry but we do lack that forward presence without Squiggly up top

Professional from Stockport from what I’ve seen (missed the early goals), but Dagenham have been really poor.

Yeah the Madden and Jennings partnership lacks the pace and power to pick teams off on the counter.

We’ve been pretty average in this second half but incredibly comfortable at the same time.

:fl: Aaand another one who couldn't quite get to the game. I'm telling you, these 2 are a JOKE, unlike me and SomeMayShay who were BOTH at the game. :ds:

Chesterfield really been this cocky after all these draws?

You’re going to Rusk yourself out of the race.

Huge momentum shift in the last few days. Bob’s Board has already handed the title to Edgeley Park, and Stockport will be massively MASSIVELY disappointed if they don’t win it from here now, but I keep coming back to their last 4 games of the season. Think they need to be 6/7 clear going into them.

Pathetic from Wealdstone today, physically dominated and seemed clueless on what to do next when we did get by Woking’s press.

Should have been all over in the first half, some wayward finishing from Woking kept us in it.

Douglas Taylor’s red card decision looks like another classic National League refereeing decision.

We were rubbish but Stockport were excellent. High line and high press completely stopped us striding into midfield with the ball and we ended up trying to play very difficult passes which didn’t come off. We’re not in the same class as Stockport really.

Don’t see the top 7 changing actually. Think it’s the 7 in there already but in what order is anyone’s guess.

It's definitely getting tight at the top now. Tinpot this league may be but it's going to be a really good fight to see who comes out on top.
