Our pitch is a fucking disgrace thanks to the old regime selling a contract to Sheffield United. Allows these tinpotters to come and do a job on us. Can see why rowe tried to go long ball yesterday, but it didn't work at all and it was painful to watch.

We need a couple of signings to get some creativity in the team.

That Knowles clown giving it the big un right in front of our fans after scoring. Bless.

Great goal from Mullin.

Stockport will go top and then start losing just like everyone else who has gone top. Notts are doing it right, postponing all their games so they only go top at the end of the season.
Notts have put themselves in a strong position now by cleverly not playing matches.

The fate of this title race lies solely in Ian David Burchnall's hands it appears. Can he handle the pressure?

Chesterfield fans were outraged when I suggested their team lacked quality in certain areas, after our game there. :ds:

..as if by magic it's 1-1. The ref chose to ignore our player who was down with a head injury but there you go.
After the disgusting amount of play acting yeovils players did in thw game at our place (and elsewhere by all accounts) I'm glad this happened. I hope the player is alright after his catastrophic injury. Play out the rest of the game did he?

Also I see Halifax struggled after losing some of their first teamers to injury. Which is why everyone was saying they might struggle to maintain the pace with their smaller squad. Not that any Fax fan would have it

What's this fat clown's beef with us? Is he still upset about losing to Grimsby at Wembley in the '98 playoff final? Total weirdo.

I’d take Woodmans comments on the chin if they made any sense. In reality they accused us of lying about covid cases and then celebrated in front of our fans rather than their own in both games, now the fat bastard has the audacity to blame us for it all
Yeah I don't get what the fuck he is on about? He must be talking about fans on Twitter because as a club we've said nowt about them?

Burchnall is a fairly calm character, I think he can.

Definite cracks appearing in some of the rivals though.. I think TFF drew a collective gasp when the Chesterfield line up was revealed yesterday. It was almost as though JR had read Stocky’s comments and thought ‘fuck it, if they think we’re hoofball, we might as well be hoofball’. From that moment on it was only going to go one of two ways.. sadly for the Spireites, it backfired. Plus, his spectacular bust-up with his best centre half.

Then you had Woodman’s extraordinary ‘love it if we beat them’ style rant about Grimsby Town. And Peter Wild blaming a ‘ghost’ for his side’s defeat at Maidenhead. All in all, a remarkable day at the top of the NL.

Only one man in the top 7 has been there and done it in the NL, and that is why Stockport are now overwhelming favourites for the title. However, keen-eyed TFFers will be closely watching on Tuesday to see if this new level of expectation starts to weigh heavily on Challinor’s shoulders, and he puts Ash Palmer up top with 15 minutes to go as Devonshire threatens to claim yet another brotherhood scalp, or something.

Stockport looked pretty impressive I thought, Dagenham are decent themselves and got blown away today.
Not a great week for Chesterfield and Halifax but it is only a week with half a season to go.
It’s been a shocker of a week for us. We had a period of games where we could get points on the board prior to a tough set of fixtures in the second half of the season and we’ve flopped it.

Notts to play twice, Stockport to play twice, Halifax away, Wrexham at home, Bromley away and Borehamwood away still to come. I still think we have as good a chance as anyone of winning the league but we’ve thrown away any advantage we may have had and now really have no margin for error against the teams just mentioned.

Eastleigh A
Daggers H
Stockport A
Weymouth A
Solihull H

That’s our next 5 games - we need to be getting minimum 3 wins there.

Wouldn’t get this from his best mate - Gareth Southgate!

It just proved my point really. I said Chesterfield were direct in their general approach with Tshimanga etc and that is why he wouldn't necessary fit in our team. I didn't actually say long ball last week but by the sounds if it they've turned the dial another 15-20 degrees and gone "very direct" with Joe Quigley.

They've not done a 180 degree turn evidently so my opinion on their style of play was pretty valid.

I can accept direct but yesterday is the first time I’ve seen us go out from minute 1 with the aim of pelting it long. Really not happy about it. Yes the pitch is a joke but no need go abandon our principles entirely. And why he thought it would be a good idea to play Asante as a 10 God only knows.

Hopefully people who watched this tonight will see how poor we are defensively and why we won’t be troubling the top 7. We’re too slow with the ball at times and come unstuck against teams who get in our face, we will probably beat the crap sides still but come unstuck against the better teams. Halifax and Chesterfield next two Saturdays, can’t wait…..not.

It’s another dud season under McMahon, trophy is still up for grabs but lots of better teams left in it.
Lose in the trophy so we can actually have a Saturday home game please

went to Alty yresterday and the manager said no injuries or covid so was looking forward to a decent side out. Lost both our main defenders , Lewis and Moxey with covid and our only other defender Slough was injured. Meant wer had to play with 3 at the back and flood the midfield. Only forwards on the bench and Holman was the only fit one to do so. It could have been 3 or 4 each as both defences were bad but just about deserved the win.

Asante in a 10 is a near sackable offence. I’d be offended if I was Akwasi - absolute bagsman being playing in midfield.

Asante is surely the archetypal no9.. Any seasoned TFFer could have told JR it should have been Asante and Kabongoals up top with Mandeville behind, Quigley on the bench as an option. If I were a Spireite I would be hoping it was just a brain fart from Rowe and normal service is resumed next week!

Seems a waste of Miller playing long ball.

Sounds like Mr Rowe is trying to replicate Burchball by shoehorning as many attacking players in as possible and he’s realised there’s just one problem…he’s not Ian Burchnall baby!

We have cover in every position and can cope without too much disruption to performance or form, with 1 or 2 out at the same time. When it's 3 or, as yesterday, 4 out at the same time then it starts to have an impact as it would with anybody else. :ds:

Beleaguered Chesterfield.

Reports coming from the Technique stadium that Rowe is locked in his office with a Machine gun after giving a speech about flouride in the water system and how Communists are trying to steal his essence.

Some bloke (non-Wrexham fan) was doing a Vlog about the game yesterday, decent view of all three goals but in particular great to see some typical Yeovil playacting featuring at the 5.20 mark.

So many of these now, and they all seem to have the same words in their titles: ‘insane comeback’, ‘absolute limbs’, or ‘total carnage’. They will say this even in the event of a relatively bog standard comeback, say a 1-2 win after being 1-0 down, or a fairly benign goal celebration*

*in fairness one of these lads did one for Notts 3-1 Wrexham, and I very much enjoyed it.

"Quick get up, we're on the attack here".

Anyone who films themselves watching a match should have that camera checked IMO, there could be all sorts on there. State of that Knowles though, just scored a good goal and thinks about running to his own fans but no, takes a big detour to be a dick right in front of the away end. Tinpotters.

Also the Mullin goal, their player is down but they carry on playing, lose the ball, then expect us to put it out. Ridiculous. Sweet victory that.

Pretty much every decision Rowe made yesterday was a stinker. Rowe is a young manager and gonna make more the odd poor decisions along the way, just hope he recognises it and sorts it out next game. Our pitch is really not helping being conducive to pretty football though it has to be said.

No. Bobs board just jizz for Whittle.
Bobs board is in melt down. Everyone's become a football manager/scout and groundsman. According to the board it's all gone t1ts up , sat at the top of the league lost 2 games all season and you'd think we were on our way to the conference north. They seem to have it in their heads were going to win every game. See the scab going by the name of Walton Spireite still as his fishing rod out. :)

I love the thumb nails to all those reaction videos on YouTube with the mouth and eyes wide in amazement etc. No-one ever make that facial expression watching Forrest Gump.
