Really looking forward to our game on Saturday. A good barometer early for our potential against one of the fancied outfits.

Should be a good crowd I would have thought for the first game of the season at the Hall.

OK Dover fan here, just want to check, is it still 3 points for a win, and 1 for a draw, just in case things may have changed since we last played Chesterfield

Yes. Although Parmenter tried to get it changed to 0 points for a win and 3 points for a defeat (4 for a covid postponement).

Mixed emotions for B2TF as Halifax's status as a Brotherhood club is cast into further doubt but he achieves the most coveted prize a Yorkshireman could ever wish for with a saving of £2.
Maidenhead get a saving of £4 which of course we don't really need.

Can’t see how FCHT being a Phoenix can ever be a brotherhood?
We've already done all of this, I know Weaselstone is still in the 20th Century but at least make an effort to keep up. Oh and, please don't reply because, as you are, or should be aware if you've been keeping up, Tin Potters are not permitted to address me directly. Thanks. :ds:

For the past couple of years the lads who post this sort of stuff at the start of the season have won the league by the end of it.
I've been saying it at the start of each season and it hasn't got us anywhere. I'll keep doing it though as it's true.

I've just been through our squad again and we have 15 players available including 2 keepers. I fully expect a loan player to be announced on the morning of tomorrow's match who will go straight into the starting XI.

Will take scrappy win tomorrow in our first home game just to keep momentum going, Bromley have a crap record at ours so let’s hope we keep that up. Balanta is a huge miss for us but Walker showed against Stockport what he can do with his pace. Home form is vital to finish top 7, no fewer than 17-18 home wins is the required standard to be up there in the play offs.

So we’ve finally announced our match day prices 2 days before our first home game. Seems a bit unfair on the brotherhood.

Category A
• Adult - £20
• Concession - £15
• Next-Gen - £12
• Under-16s - £7
• Matches - Chesterfield, Grimsby Town, Stockport County, Aldershot Town, Yeovil Town, Southend United, Notts County, Torquay United, Wrexham

Category B
• Adult - £18
• Concession - £13
• Next-Gen - £10
• Under-16s - £5
• Matches - FC Halifax Town, Bromley, Dagenham & Redbridge, Barnet, Wealdstone, Eastleigh

Category C
• Adult - £16
• Concession - £11
• Next-Gen - £8
• Under-16s - £3
• Matches - Altrincham, Boreham Wood, Dover Athletic, Maidenhead United, Weymouth, Solihull Moors, Kings Lynn Town
Aldershot & Yeovil are not in the Brotherhood.

If they wanted to produce a list like this they should have studied the Natural Order.

We are definitely a cat.C side at the moment, but they want to screw us for the extra admission cash. We don’t categorise at Aldershot, all league opposition is tin-pot.:err:

Aldershot are in The Brotherhood. I am the founder and SOLE administrator of The Brotherhood. I alone say who is in and who is not. The members were defined on the founding day. No new members may be admitted, no member may leave. :bdick:

First proper home game for me since Feb 2020. Looking forward too a few beers, 3 points and a post match curry!
Should be 5k there I reckon which at this level is very good.

If I was a conference chairman or the Kings Lynn owner, i'd be pricing the Wrexham games at minimum 100 quid. Once in a life time chance seeing the Hollywood Reds with star signing Ben 200zer and his humongous long throws enthralling the star-struck local faithfuls.

Doesn’t affect him anyway as he just lies about going to away games like the time he pretended he’d gone to Wrexham but had managed to get back to Halifax by about quarter past 5.

I’ve just checked our results for last season and I’m afraid I’m none the wiser on how many points you get for a win.

we were poor throughout last satuday. Although 6 debutants and 4 more on the bench. Yes we have lost some key players but still coming up for the game and cant see much out of it 2 nil Notts.

Enjoy the beers and the curry, but hopefully not the 3 points. Chippenham away (14th March 2020) was my last away day so tomorrow will be a stark contrast in terms of crowd, surroundings and expectations.

Even though we’ll have quite a few POTD, it doesn’t look like we’ll have 200+ away which is really disappointing.

I know it’s bank holiday and there are a host of festivals etc, but am amazed that we aren’t taking at least 300. Oh well……

Will be a tricky game for us today. I see Woking causing us similar problems to what Maidenhead did. Long ball up to Effiong and play off the second ball. Our lack of physical/aerially presence at the back definitely showed at times last week.

We will have to defend a lot better and be more clinical than we were last time out. I’d settle for a point today but we could do with 4 points out of today and Alty on Monday.
