We could do with something at Halifax really after two defeats on the spin. Roberts will be back from suspension and I’m going to back him to bag in a 1-1 draw.

Two things i hope dont happen:

i) After all my moaning about how Chesterfield have had an easy start they come and comfortably beat us, making me look a right plum.

ii) Our game is abandoned due to bad weather.

Will be a tough game, particularly after losing a couple of key players. Hopefully Lennon, Davies and Hyde came through Saturday OK.

I'll be tweeting Rob if it's called off :D

Who got injured on Sat? Saw Tozer and another got carried off.

Oyeleke may return for us which would be massive. Would be starting Khan too which I think we will given how much Rowe has talked him up. Expect to see Kellerman potentially make his debut, at least be on the bench too.

I think we will see goals, would take a point. 2-2.

Not sure if our allocation was 1000 or 1100 but we have 400 tickets left apparently so should be a decent following.

Luke Young went off early as well. He walked off but I dont expect he'll be available tomorrow.

I'm hoping there will be a very minimal crowd and if people are vocal they'll all be outside the ground. Also I'm hoping the game gets disrupted by tennis balls or beach balls or something.
We've got what 3500-4000 season ticket holders and maybe 25 will turn up from Eastleigh, so that will be the 'official' crowd but I'm really hoping no more than 1000 will be inside the stadium.

If our game is abandoned due to the weather I'll go into hiding.

Can’t see our game being on looking at the forecast for Halifax tonight and tomorrow. Wouldn’t be the worst thing for us, more time to get some defenders back fit again.

Jordan Davies, Jake Hyde and Bryce Hosannah had just come back from injuries on Saturday, and we're managing Lennon's gametime. There is an outside chance these 4 could also be out, but with us only playing 45 minutes on Saturday I think they'll all be fit to play. Tozer and Young will no doubt miss out. Centre back is one of our most in-depth positions with Tyler French likely coming in for him, so Tozer being out won't be a huge concern. Young is probably the least gifted of our starting midfield 3 and will be replaced by Devonte Redmond, who seems to have played well in his last couple of matches.

Oyeleke would be a huge boost for you as we are still looking very lightweight in midfield. We haven't really got a ball winner in there, or anyone with a bit of physicality so he could make a big difference. I expect it to be a game of chances, with players at both ends being capable of finding the back of the net.

Stones take on Solihull in front of the BT Sport cameras at The Vale, off the back of a drubbing at Torquay. Do we have bouncebackability? Big test for us. Hopefully roared on by a decent crowd taking advantage of our £5 ticket offer for all age groups except u14s who go FREE. UTS.

Surely all that manual work trying to get the game on will take its toll on the squad

Think Alty will either do a Bromley and suss us out or we’ll turn on the style and come away with a strong win. 3-1 either way.

Looking forward to a pic of Cal Roberts desperately trying to mop the pitch up at 0-2 Notts

We are suffering with injuries too, our 2 most important midfielders are injured (Oyeleke and Clarke). Oyeleke is 50:50 I think.

Can see the midfield 3 being Weston, Khan and Kellerman.

I’ve just laughed out loud at the thought of Wrexhams game being off, imagine

I’ll be at Alty tomorrow (weather permitting) I haven’t had the best games so far this season and have certainly missed the crackers. Fingers crossed for a win, 4 points or more in this and away at Woking and I’ll start to get a bit excited.

Alty have been a bit of a bogey team for us last time we were down here (the exception being a 5-0 win in our promotion
season) so not sure what to expect, one of those teams that I never really fancy us to beat so I can see a draw tomorrow night.

Our pitch is known for not doing well with prolonged periods of rain so I would agree. Wouldn't be a bad thing for us either to be honest. We've got a few little niggles that probably won't make it tomorrow night.

6 games between the 2 sides, Alty won 2, 3 draws, 1 big Grimsby win.
Very much looking forward to it, always a pleasantly boisterous atmosphere when Grimsby come.

our pitch is also being ripped up after the game tomorrow, so no doubt the quality of the football may be affected too (getting our excuses in early)

As much as I've banged on about his inclusion in our squad being useless, it's incredibly harsh and I also feel for him. But he's a more than likely a top earner in this squad, it's getting close to the time to cut our losses and release him for me. We could take the hit now and replace him with a big signing. Having said that, from Hurst's comments it might not that bad but it seems like these niggles are going to continue.

County are for it and they're gonna get it tomorrow night. Load of overpaid pussies who think they're doing you all a favour playing for you, coz they're too good for this league really. :woot: :bdick:
