Yeah, I suppose we’re lucky on that front being in the middle of the country and tending to be one that lots of people want to do. Even the smallest away followings last season were the same as the smaller ones in League Two.

Tbf Nottingham is a more enticing prospect than Hartlepool.....

I suppose it’s all a matter of perspective based on experience. The poster above who mentioned that Sutton and Dover fans are just happy to be here is essentially correct. This is the highest level either of our clubs have been at, and we’ve both relatively recently experienced the Isthmian League (Dover have even played in the Isthmian Division One South). Back in the Isthmian days I was desperate for Sutton to get promoted- it was a level I thought we were too big for. You think away support is bad in this league? Wait until you see 40 away fans at a local derby. Believe it or not Gander Green Lane was considered a super stadium at that level. So I can appreciate where some of you BELTS are coming from. But it’s still funny

You’re probably just scared of Northerners, Jared.

After the way the people of Hartlepool treated that poor monkey I’m just scared of Hartlepool
They're not so bad these days, first time I went there they bricked our coach as we set off through the town centre on our way home, leaving us to go 100 miles at 60mph, covered in the glass that should have been where the windows were. Nice. Good job they'd won, huh? Anyway, long story short, they've since come to understand that strangers in town aren't ALL French spies, although how Brexit will change this we'll have to wait and see....... :ds:

Teams cracking 150 would be a start, we're the most Northern outpost granted, but I'm sick to the back teeth of losing to dog shite teams and their 40 fans, again, granted some of that is due to us being dog shit, the drop from League football to this hell hole is horrible, going to the footy is (was in the current climate) a fucking chore these days, zero enjoyment in it.
Until you've been walloped 5-1 at home by a side called Vauxhall Motors, backed by, literally,3 fans, you haven't suffered enough, chuck. :ds:

40? You were doing well with Carshalton, we were lucky to get half that for a local derby in the Isthmian.

We were well and truly ‘Solihulled’. They’ve literally had 2 shots 2 goals. Both excellent strikes, one being a goal of the season contender. How we’ve got nothing out of that game I will never know. Absolutely battered them.

Osborne is a cheating git. Could have easily got a red for a nasty challenge and it summed it up when their commentator said his must useful contribution of the game was being in the refs ear constantly.

Never mind. It happens. Onto the next one.
They are masters at that.

Interestingly that’s the first time they’ve ever beaten us in the league. But yes, they seem to have a knack of being clinical in those close games
