That's the worst Chester team I've seen in years. Probably since we beat them in the cup in their relegation season from the NL.

For us on the other hand another win could've been 3 or 4 up at half time hit the word work twice and Gray made a great stop. But Sterling James gets off the mark.

First 10 minutes of the second half Chester came out of the block and I was worried we were going to rue our missed chances but Mark Carrington take a bow. 30 yards out and nobody within 10 yards of him so he just strikes it into the top corner. Had a great view and once it left his foot it was in. Austin makes it 3 with a scrappy goal then a poor challenge from Montrose at the death allowed Chester to score from the spot.

For us it was a complete performance everyone had a great game. Bajrami won't be here long he's a class above in defence and will probably be picked up by a NL club soon. Hemmings, Austin and Sterling James in an attacking midfield 3 are up there for beet in the league.

I know Chester have had Covid issues which stopped them training but looked way off the pace. No real tactics just hoof it to Waring and hope it sticks. There best part was when their 3rd sub came on Oyibo he was getting the ball down and trying to run at our defence. Not sure what their formation was either especially the first half. Seemed to have about 6 defenders on the pitch.

Over 2000 at Meadow Park again, the city turned up unfortunately the team definitely didn't today. Groves got that massively wrong. Benched King and Robert from the 4 nil mauling of York and put McGilp in the centre. I assume he must have been doing the clubs twitter or something because he did sod all else for the time he was on the pitch, a total passenger. Embarrassing.

Galvin on loan from Sheffield Wednesday was being beaten over and over again far too easily and Kettering took advantage of it. A thoroughly pathetic display and Kettering fully deserved the 3 points.

Not a great advert for the NLN at all.
I dont recommend any Darlington fans watch as they will be tearing their hair out how they lost/conceded three to us.

Tactially inept and second best all over the park. A yard slow to the ball. Should have lost by much more.

Its going to be a long season for Alfreton at this rate

We are also missing our best two midfield players injured this week we had 5 centre backs playing to make up the numbers

Solid performance, but a very drab affair. We did well at the back, created a handful of chances and Alli proved a spark.

ThsnksCFCMagpie, at least we picked up the points, and finally scored. I have been concerned since pre season that the squad isnt good enough and havent seen anything g yet to dissuade me of that view.

Thanks for the honesty, my view has been for some time that we will need for there to be 3 or 4 teams worse than us, it hasn't changed, long season for us too.

Finally of the mark, reasonable performance but struggling to defend.Big plus Olly Dyson the striker/ winger looked very good at full back.
Taylor today had a nightmare for £pendy ,they actually looked terrible in defence.
Very big away following today by York despite being poor this season.

Think Curzon darlo may be all about fatigue and who holds best.

Curzon with 3 games in 6 days with small pet time squad and darlo still lacking match fitness getting g two quick games.

first half may be vital as both sides may be too lacking fitness wise to mount much second half

No qualms with today's result. We played much better than Saturday's shambolic display against Alfreton!
Once again we gave away sloppy goals in which is becoming the norm at the moment.

I think in all honesty Curzon should of had at least another two goals. How on earth Curzon's Mckay missed a golden opportunity to put the ball in the back of the net, would have been 3-1 game over!

We played some decent football at times with our own chances, especially towards the end.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Thought the first 25 minutes was darlo dominated really and you deserved the lead other than a couple of corners we didn’t do much.

then we got the goal from nothing and dominated most of the last 20 mins banging in another.

2nd half I never felt we were troubled until the sending off (never seen it to comment) then had to weather a strong for a while before ending the much stronger side.

defending again dreadful at times from both teams……a running theme currently, am wondering that the side who wins title will be the one able to defend well without packing the box all game.

impressed so far with Curzon thinking this may be their strongest side since I started watching on early view.

the Curzon defence isn’t as good as previous, but this is the first Curzon side honestly able to really have a good go at other sides, it has always been about counter attack before. If their defence and goalie could settle down they may do a lot better than expected.

To the Darlo mob, Nick Loughlin reckons you're after Jake Lawlor on loan, hasn't had a sniff for us and is well down the pecking order here.

Would make sense really, sure we was after him in the summer but he wanted to stay in the EFL.

Would do all parties good if he come here for a month or 2.

He will come to Halifax someday. Gets linked with us every year being a Halifax lad yet it never seems to happen for whatever reason.

Looks a bit of a carthorse must be said. Was a strange signing to be honest. Highly doubt he's league standard.

Alfreton head to Chester tomorrow.

We are awful so the pressure on Chester will increase markedly should they fail to beat us

For Curzon I class this the make or break games if Curzon want to do anything more than bottom half battlers this year.

start has been strong, should have beat Guisley, hammered Chester, got back level away at Boston with 10 men to lose in injury time, then beat Darlo holding with 10 men last 30 mins……very good start for us.

now have 3 away games in next four, but 3 of them teams would be deemed similar to ourselves in leamington, BPA and Farsley (Gloucester the exception)

we want to be top half need to dig results from these games, the ones we won’t ‘raise game’ for.

We had him for a short spell at Chorley, to be fair he wasnt given much game time but to me never looked fit, so in my view I wouldn't want him in our side in NLN. Oh perhaps I should add that I dont consider our current midfielders to be good enough either, but still wouldn't want him.

He was brilliant for us around 5 years ago until some Wrexham Yard dog snapped his ankle. I don't think he's been the same player since.
