An embarrassment to our league today at Cleethorpes

Never seen anything like it in all my years supporting the club which admittedly only about 9!
How Billy can continue is beyond me

Darlo fans what on earth happened with that pitch today, was the mower broke?
Wasn’t there today, but heard it was bad and our side aren’t happy with it either.

I’m positive the rugby club maintain the pitch, imagine my shock that they can’t do the simple things right.

At least you should have got to sample the best fish and chips in the UK.

Once again Gloucester turn up and the team basically doesn't. Biggest gate in the entire FA cup so far (2,320) and we limped over the line against a side that literally don't even pay their players. Groves out

usually you normally do nick our players mid season if they do well.

maybe your issue presently has been ditching going with the better performing conf north players and moving to ex league.

Draw time today. Shall hope for another good draw.

we were ruthless b*stards on Saturday. Went out of the traps all guns blazing and went 2 up after 3 minutes, then still went at them for 20 more minutes before giving up once 3-0 and them in shock.

sortve wish we’d gone for a big large score but think we decided to just ease off at 4-0 save energy and less risk on injuries.

Two teams Saturday that wouldn't have scored if we'd played all night. The Rugby club deciding not to cut the grass didn't help our quick passing game, and aided Chester's pressing game. They were on top for 20/25 minutes first half, then we probably had more of the ball but created little. Referee didn't help game, but then again, when do they? I've a feeling we will be more suited to playing away, but we'll see Tuesday night.

How does a club even at this level allowed to play when they don’t cut grass,it’s not U8 football.
Surely the rugby club get paid to cut it and are obliged to do this and more worrying you allow this to happen.
Your fans are playing £14 to watch a game ruined by long grass.

Ware or Hemel... What happened to this being regionalised?

It's not like it was knee level. Just not suited to our game. First time it's happened in a long time. One of those things you have to put up with when you're a tenant, but I appreciate your outrage.

You're in the Southern section. If you get Hemel and they don't segregate you, you're in for a treat with their Roman-Greco themed main bar room.

It wasn’t suited to ours ether the managers said they took one look at the pitch then they changed tactics completely, to more of a long game to suite condition.

On paper could not ask for a better draw than at home to someone two leagues lower but it is the FA cup and shocks happen.

we need to start as ruthlessly as we did on Saturday.

Probably best if we dont turn up at Southport for the replay tomorrow Fylde or Spennymoor away is the reward. Rest up and go for it Saturday in the league game.

Yeah, we went long and tried to get the ball forward quickly. Completely abandoned our usual style.

I actually wish we'd do it a bit more often to be honest. We always end up playing in front of teams too much usually and struggle to break them down.

We're at Gateshead this Saturday, then Folkestone the week after in the cup. What is this regionalised thing you speak of?

The midlands feels like it gets shafted when there s only a Southern and Northern league / cup draw - leaves midland clubs more travelling and less likely to have derbies - e.g. Brackley and Oxford City who are all of 30 mins away being in different leagues. However, the North-East and South-West clubs have it much worse... so can only complain so much
