So we have Yeovil whose players and manager were rowing with the fans on Tuesday, versus Notts who had one of the worst nights in recent memory.

Promises to be a classic.
If only you had Stefan Payne in the mix then the game would have everything...

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
Now we’ve a midfield that looks like it may actually be fit for purpose, a reasonably decent back four and with Andrews up top, I think we might be able to give Stockport a game. Our away form hasn’t been horrific either so fancy a hard fought draw.
Yeah, go along with that. With Harris back from suspension also, we may actually create something for whoever may be upfront. Defending is a worry though, we have a couple not up to standard. New manager MM has an attacking policy though,so could be interesting . 2-2

Carline out for 5 months. The injury situation is getting a bit silly now for us. Rowe fuming over the tackle in this morning's interview. I thought it was a red seeing it live, couldn't believe it wasn't even blown as a foul.
Bad tackles happen you all need to just let it go, you wouldn’t catch anyone at Grimsby holding grudges about bad tackles that weren’t punished….. :animatedf:

It was a shocker. The ref had a shocker in general I thought - though I expected we'd get very little against the celebs from north wales.

Gutting for us now to have Asante, Hollis, Clarke, Denton, Clarke and now Carline all on the treatment table - arguably all of them apart from Denton would be in our starting 11 for me.

I think we will bring in a right back now as we only have Jeff King who can play there.

Boreham Wood away, just can’t see us getting anything here as we just don’t have the quality to bring in to give some a rest. The FA cup break can’t come soon enough.

Surely the bullet will arrive for Rusk if he fails to win this one tomorrow.

I'd also say Ian Burchnall would be in a spot of bother should he lose tomorrow. I definitley think it's in the territory where a radio commentator could describe him as "trudging down the Huish Park tunnel" should they suffer a defeat to the Somerset club and not be out of order at all.

What are the fans saying about replacements? Any preferred/realistic candidates emerging?

Not really. Some think that Flynn would drop down after leaving Newport, I doubt it tbh. The Altrincham Phil Parkinson gets a mention now and then. Not so sure about him myself.

I could see us try and be clever and try and go abroad.

We just need someone who knows this league or general lower league and plays on the front foot with a simple game plan.

Not sure how tomorrow will go but i'm almost certain it won't be 0-0. Only Woking have scored more away goals than us this season, while we haven't kept a clean sheet all season.

Saw Stockport have the 4th worst home record so far, some hope for us travelling maybe?

Being abroad hasn’t done Wrexham any good.

Tbf I think the only one if those with a history of injuries is Asante. The rest is just bad luck (and dirty Wrexham)

Before our win against Wrexham last time out at EP we had won only 1 of our last 11 home games.

950 tickets sold for Woking.
Well done, that’s nearly full terrace. Be careful of the plastic barriers if you celebrate a goal, if you break them, you’ll be branded as hooligan scum.
Please leave by gate 5 to avoid the local s̶c̶h̶o̶o̶l̶ies hard- nuts, as instructed.

So I'm 37 years old and other than a 5 year stint of living overseas, I've been going to see Town about 10-20 times a season every season since I was about 14 (before that probably 5-10 times a season). I might need to have a harder think but I'm fairly sure tomorrow is the first time I will be going to see us when we're top of a division.

Haha, believe me we're used to that. Cheers for the advice. Good luck to you lot tomorrow!

So our head to head v Grimsby:

Grimsby wins 8
Draws 1
Woking wins 0

We even managed two defeats in 5 days back in 2016.

Rumours are that this is the Best Grimsby Side Garry Hill Has Ever Seen™️
This is like our record vs Alfreton. Blotted by a single draw. This season could actually be the best Woking team we've faced, to be fair.

It’s a tough ask after a lot of traveling for us to go to Woking and pick up points again after an unnecessarily tough final 30 mins on Tuesday. Bite your hand off for a draw, presume we’ll be full strength with a great chance to rest players next Saturday

Whatever you do, don’t mention that Woking like to go direct in your comments after the game. Their chairman is VERY touchy on Twitter

All eyes are on Huish Park tomorrow. That man is on the brink.

What’s funny about that is that the one draw you got against us we scored twice in injury time to get it.
