I hope Mata starts instead of Falcao

Valencia Smalling Evans Rojo
Young Herrera Blind Di Maria
Mata
Rooney

We should get all 3 points with that formation.

It's squeaky bum time for us. We simply have to win this game to stay in contention for fourth. After this fixture we have Spurs, Liverpool, City and Chelsea all within a month. All very tough fixtures. If we don't win Liverpool will be favourites for fourth place.

Bit risky playing with no keeper though, you must be really confident

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Why wasn't that a penalty?

Both should be off - both players tried to kick out at each other (intent is a red card these days) and then both spat at each other (although that would have been hard for the ref to see).

Newcastle are there waiting to be beaten but United couldn't finish a wank. They should soon wake up and realise that United are simply turgid shite and start taking the game to them with pace, guarantee United will shit their pants if Perez comes on and starts running at them.

With Arsenal, Liverpool, and Tottenham all leading by two, Manchester United have to score here.

Krul's way of thanking LVG for bringing him on for that World Cup shootout.

It was good play from Rooney, the rest of the game however, fucking hell. Just absolutely turgid to watch. Van Gaal's tactics have no balls, they take no chances, make no runs, it's all about keeping possession and not losing. Newcastle offered absolutely nothing, a more adventurous team with this talent would paste them.
