The same could be said of you offering no threat. We should have had a pen (did I mention that yet?), Cisse should have scored, and we had a couple of decent chances on top of that. You offered about as much of a threat as we did, a team that spends no money and is riddled with injuries. £160mil well spent.

Why should you be killing teams off with that kind of possession when you do fuck all with it? Teams are happy to let you have the ball because you don't create anything with it, your midfield sat in front of our midfield and defence and passed it side to side, over and over again. In order to kill teams off you have to attempt to create chances, your lot don't do that. Whether they're scared or just not very good, I don't know.

I suppose that's fair enough mate. But the reality is, while you may have far better players on paper (and you do, keeper aside obviously), you haven't performed in such a manner all season, so expectations must be adjusted to fit the current managers "I scared bro" style of play imo.

The thing I don't understand is, and we all agree you're performing way below the standard your players of capable of, where is the criticism of the manager mate?
