Rotherham competes for crowds with the two |Sheffield clubs, Blackburn competes with Bolton, Burnley, Preston, two plastic manc clubs...even though they are a bunch of 6 fingered dingles, the clubs near them have more an effect on crowds than Rotherham

Hold up mate how far from Blackburn to Manchester? Cos Leeds is 35miles from Rotherham, they contest with Donny and Barnsley too.

Not that I'm defending them. Let's be reyt the provisional clubs of Lancashire and Yorkshire are fucked.

The entire country loses support to Man Utd and Liverpool but it's rife round here as the glory hunting fuckers claim to be a quick train ride away and they all have 'family links to the cities'.....they still don't bother to attend mind.

Sheffield is a bit of anomaly in terms of its lack of glory hunters, pretty impressive considering the two clubs have underachieved for years now.

As long as we play Swindon, QPR and Bristol City next season I don't really care about the rest.

For the first time I've ever known around here we've proper glory fans, I've grown up mainly seeing Wednesday and United tops in town but it's now rife with Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd, City etc, crying fucking shame but that's sky for you, they give kids no reason to support their local teams anymore. 'dad can buy a United shirt and we can watch em most weeks via sky without leaving home' that's what we all face.

Edit 1 trophy between both clubs in 80 years of football yet as a city we get 40k between us so gives some little credence in being the home of football just a shame our city doesn't shout it from the rooftops.

And round here, they're all glory-hunting fucking Saints fans. Masses of Eastleigh and Totton fans have deserted.

Doubt he does. A lot of Reading fans see it as one of their favourite away days though.

Fair do's I think I heard about it on Sky Sports a few years back and thought it was a bit strange.

No, but Bristol is a top, top day on the lash. Always take a good following as well.

Still have nightmares over that 4-0 loss at the Gate over a decade ago.

Yeah but i have dreams of that 3-2 win in 2011 or the 4-1 win in 2008.That 3-3 draw in 2002 was a cracking game as well.

Were you at the 3-2 game? That always sticks out in my head as being most of the maddest games ever. We were bottom at the time but we played a fairly positive line-up with Maynard, Pitman and Adomah all starting. We went 2-0 up and could have easily been 5 or 6 up with the chances we'd had. Then when Reading scored with 15 to go, you immediately knew it was going to go horribly wrong, but still couldn't quite believe it when it happened.

I believe that was Millen's last home game in charge and he was sacked after we lost the next game 5-0 to Blackpool.

Yeah i was there. You are spot on with that.We should have been 5 or 6 down.I think you hit the post/bar 3 times. The first 75 from us were as bad as i saw us play that season.David James made 2 errors for the first 2 Reading goals and the third was a back heal from Manset.Probably one of the few decent things he did for us.

A fair amount of our fans including a couple of my mates left with about 20 minutes left when we were 2 down. One of them didn't realise until the following morning we had won 3-2.It was probably the turning point in our season as we had started that season poorly up to then and ended up winning the Championship.

I would love to know what the average away crowd at Stadium:MK would be if we went up. It was 1,500ish last season in League One and this season, 1,096 currently.

With it being a new ground for many and with more local games, it would probably be about 2,000! #boycott
