If you could pick a maximum of 5 or 6 players from other conference clubs (national, north or south) to be at your club next season who would you pick?

i'd go for;-

Hannah (Chester)
Bogle (Grimsby)
Parslow (Cheltenham)
McNulty (Tranmere)
Sutton (Tranmere)
Astle (Chester)

p.s WISH LIST* not LOST

Both frear and Kelly out of contract, wouldn't be surprised if someone snaps up parkin, pipe and Guthrie either.

Mine are
Holman
Ricky Miller
Bruno Andrade
Harry Pell
Kevin Nicholson (manager)

Louis Almond was with us twice on loan - a great talent, just not 100% sure about his temperament

He's always impressed me when I've seen him, with no disrespect to Southport it would be interesting to see how he managed at a 'bigger' club wih higher expectations.

So this is basically "who are the best players in non-league?".
Only got games against Barrow to go off, so for me:

Padraig Amond
Sam Corne
Krystian Dennis
James Dayton
Craig Clay

The player that I rememeber having the best game against us was Jamal Fyfield, though I understand he's shit.

Of the players I could envisage signing for Barrow, Bogle, Piergianni, Southwell, and Sutton would be good.

He's got a lot of skill, but I've probably seen him 30 or 40 times and would reckon only 5 of those he really impressed - goes missing, gives up if things aren't going his way, and often unfit. Not sure many Barrow fans would have him back.

Fyfield isn't shit at all, just has occasional lapses in concentration.

I think he's just one of those (many) players who didn't enjoy playing at Grimsby.

Right, we'll have him then.

not so much the best players - more which players (and positions) people think would improve there team most - hence only 5 or 6 choices allowed

As an Orient fan who's seen a number of games from this league:

James McKeown
Dale Bennett
Sean Raggett (Doe, Racine and Beckles push him close)
Alex Woodyard
Johnny Goddard
Louis Almond (Debated him, Payne or Amond)

About 20 would make my honourable mentions list...

Do you Barrow lot see Bogle as a genuine target then? You know he's got 2 more years on his contract, right?

I didn't think this thread had anything to do with realistic targets. I don't see many of the names mentioned moving to other Conference clubs.

Brett Williams back would be a good start (we never replaced him this season)
Mckeown from Grimsby
McNulty from Tranmere (would be good experience alongside Beckles)
Ginelly from Altrincham (I'm pretty sure he was the winger that ripped us apart)
Pell from Cheltenham

Of course, I doubt we have the financial pulling power to afford any of those players.
