You'd be surprised. Has happened to my knowledge in Germany, Holland and Belgium (away support of over 2,500 at that level)....but there will be alot more. Also remember, England has fewer leagues per tier (England doesn't really have a pyramid of football till tier 7) than most countries so comparisons are difficult.
Number of leagues by tier
Tier 1 Tier 2 Tier 3 Tier 4 Tier 5
Germany 1 1 1 5 14
Netherlands 1 1 2 6 11
Belgium 1 1 2 4 9
England 1 1 1 1 1

As Gas says their cheap as chips. And the leagues and due to the number of league at that level - travelling distance is minimal

Tickets are reasonably priced yes, not cheap.
English prices are stupid.
But don't believe everything you read about certain countries (ahem Germany - where terrace prices are reasonable, but seat prices often are not).

Travel in Belgium and Holland is obviously less, I quoted that as I know for a fact as I have seen it.

But you get the bigger away support in more local games in Germany just as you do with games in England. RW Essen took 6,000 to an away game (and wanted more) in Aachen last month in tier 4 which is an hour and a half drive.

All 2,604 tickets for Kidderminster now sold, I know so many regulars asking for tickets. Shame

If that's true, I wonder just how desperate Kiddy are for ticket revenue at the moment...

*Cough* Maybe give us some of the North terrace too *cough* ;)

Surely they wouldn't be able to police that

Yeah that's probably the downside, there'd have to be phenomenal demand for it to be financially worthwhile for Kiddy, and even then I'm not sure there'd be enough space to do it if there was a good enough level of demand.

I honestly think we could sell another 500 before Friday then another 700-800 if we win friday. We probably could've sold around 4,000

It won't be often that a team will take 2500 away in this league and not have the biggest following that day.

Like Rovers fans, I know quite a few regular "exiles" unable to get a ticket and I'm sure we'd have been able to sell a few hundred more had we been given them.

I know 3 private coaches going and only 15-20 people on each have tickets. Should be fun

Managed to get a ticket in the home end. Wasn't that hard. Just took a bit of common sense

I was planning on seeing what all the fuss was about anyway

Best food at any ground and I've been to nearly 160 different ones. The cottage pie and the lamb curry, rice and naan bread are well recommended and the soup is like a meal in itself. I just hope the Kiddy caterers are prepared for the Rovers invasion,

Macclesfield wasn't. They sold out of all hot food by half time and we only took 800

That usually happens at Macclesfield. I didn't go this season but exactly the same thing happened to us last season. I felt sorry for the young lass who was serving in the kiosk on her own trying to deal with the queues.

Better than us risking any go to waste which we can't afford to do.

Would have been interesting to see if tickets had been limitless just how many we could have taken. Judging by demand, and this just from people talking on forums, we could've been looking at an away attendance well over three thousand.

As I said on previous posts I think we'd sell over 4,000. Especially if we win Friday

Kiddy do the beat food I've ever had at a football ground.

I'd imagine Grimsby will have a couple of hundred in the home end too. Little bit harder for Gas to do that as it's all ticket. Shame really, as Kiddy could really cash in here. Would be well over 3,000 going.

This isn't going to end well is it?

No I don't think it will. But hopefully we've learned from the Stockport fiasco and we'll have a police presence both inside and outside the ground

Pretty sure there's no barriers along the side of the pitch either is there?

On the east stand no there isn't really and the barriers that are there are very easy to just step over

Prepare for a pitch invasion if we score late on

I can't imagine there being much trouble once inside the ground - and certainly no pitch invasions given the Wycombe fiasco this time last year. I was more referring to the idea that people who haven't bought tickets are photocopying them, the pre-match stuff just has 'farce' written all over it.
