Tbf, you have to go on home attendances of which ours is 6200. Either way, if Barnet take 1000 away to Kiddy, thats phenomenal support

Can you really judge Barnets home support though? They normally had a core of around 2,300 before they moved I thought?

It doesn't get much better, but I hate to see someone skew the figures.
4000/5500 was used as was 1000/1700, giving 72.3% and 58.8%
I am not skewing the figures.
Bristol Rovers took 2600 and 1500 extra on top of that is 4100, not 4000.
And Barnets estimate was 850 - 900, not 1000, so i went off the higher 900.
I have no reason to try and alter figures when neither of the teams are my own!!
So Bristol Rovers is much the more impressive, however, also decent effort from Barnet.

1,000 was the figure that was used as the estimate of what we'd take to Kidderminster, compared to what Bristol Rovers took. You're quoting the Dartford estimate which isn't relevant.

Unfortunately not.
Our average attendances at Underhill in League 2 varied between 2100 to 2400 but that included away fans.

I don't keep up with this thread, your mistake has been pointed out, mine is that I trusted the post you were quoting on the numbers (which you didn't justify differences to in my defense) - I apologise for that one!

Sheffield reports bad for the club, especially when trying to make the case for a new stadium. Unfortunately some of our "fans" are locked in another age - it seems when our travelling numbers get above a certain threshold, the number of idiots rises disproportionately.

Yes, it's a fan video not a Sheffield Start one - kind of reinforces my point doesn't it? Non-league version of Leeds when they were first relegated (in my lifetime) circa 1984, or Moan Utd likewise in 73? - like I say locked in another age...

As if they weren't acting stupidly enough in the first place :ffs::ffs:

Just 400 tickets left for dover next week. Don't think they'll reach general sale monday... Will we get more? Been allocated 2,233 but palace got 2,900 I believe with more demand from the home end as well

Our final home game of the season, and perhaps the most important against Welling United has been announced as our "pay Want you want day"

http://www.alfretontownfc.com/news/REDS ANNOUNCE PAY WHAT YOU WANT ADMISSION-2749.htm

Its an inaugural one and a great idea by Wayne.

I remember this was very successful for Lincoln.

Their is no minimum either!

Great idea that, especially with the importance of the game and the need for a big following.

Often find that the 'pay what you want' days are better than the 'free entry' ones which I've seen Eastleigh et al. do a couple of times. People, even if they don't usually go, will probably stump up something even if its below the usual matchday entry price - which is good for the club ultimately.

Successful is probably stretching it a bit, only 4,500 or so turned up, although I suppose successful in comparison to the current average of circa 2,600.

I agree. As I say its our first attempt so it will be really interesting to see the turnout. The fact that Derby,Chesterfield and Forest are away from home on that day is great news too. Hopefull of around 1.200-1,500?

Dependant on results today I'm already eyeing up Southport away, just need to convince the missus that she REALLY wants to go shopping in Liverpool with the daughter whilst the boys cheer on GTFC!
Only problem is last time I persuaded her to do similar was away at Port Vale in the cup, and dropped them in Stoke while we went to the match, we thought that being a City, Stoke would be a nice place to visit....... :ffs: :bang:
She is still having nightmares about it...:lol:

Unsegregated at Braintree but given the official attendance was 621 i'd estimate there were 200 of us as it looked like we had about a third of the crowd.

If I don't go to Oldham I'll probably come down.

Surely closer to 2,000 given piss-takers can chuck a penny in?
