I CHOOSE THE SPEAR AND SHIELD

OOC: would've gone for the bow and arrow as I've always wanted to be Legolas but gonna even the numbers up a bit instead. Your welcome guys, dreams crushed over here.

In context: Lots for crystal available, my purest batch yet. Don't know what it is with the water we've been collecting but its fantastic at purification. Only way I've been able to keep going and not die of exhaustion is this shit so far...Swear that dog over there keeps talking too. woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof (any idea on any more wolves yet Mr Veggie?) *throws bone at dog, what, cardsfan doesnt need it anymore, does he!?*

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Sword

Very civilised warfare. Not wielded one since I was going hand to hand with the Zulus.

I hate Birmingham, me.

He did indeed. The only confirmed longbow kill of WW2

Sword please! (BOLD)

Regarding execution, I'm going to point the finger at Steady. Strangely the only person who stayed behind with no reason given, when we were told that people staying behind would hurt our chances. Feel free to discuss this, but for now,

Steady for execution! (Bold)

I saw no benefit of going. At the point of my decision the bridge was on the verge of breaking, so it was self-preservation.

LeeWilson is taken to the river and given his final rights by Veggie Legs. Two of the survivors then grab Lee's head and hold it under the water until the bubbles stop. Lee is dead.

LeeWilson was

innocent.

It is night.

Yeah, sorry guys. Been busy and when I've come on TFF, this hasn't been my priority. In truth, I've got a bit bored of NOTW, so it's my own fault for entering. Apologies all.

The final choices are:

SWORD

Krazy8
Hand of Dom
Silyman
This Charming Mike
LeaSaints
Ciderhead
Cas

SPEAR AND SHIELD

Aberstone
Blade
Rammy
Veggie Legs
Inceptive Lemon

BOW AND ARROW

Hodge
SUTSS
Yellow
Bottega Don
Magic
RKP

Cas has been randomly assigned to Sword, while Inceptive Lemon has been made a Spearman. So overall, we have a pretty nice balance of 7 swords, 5 spearmen and 6 archers.

As soon as the adventurers leave the weapons cache and step outside, they see the greater demon already waiting for them!

IT'S BATTLE TIME!

The system for this battle is heavily influenced by TFF Wars. And is probably super complex, but fuck it, here's an explanation:

As a group, you have built up your collective stats...

Each Swordsman you have gives you 1 base BR. BR stands for "battle rating".
Each spear and shield will gain you 1 defense. This is damage that, as a group, you can absorb before taking damage.
Each archer you have grants you a single D2... this stands for "2 sided dice"... with more archers, you are able to upgrade those dice, to a limit of being a D6.

So from your current set up, you have:

BR= 7
Defence= 5
Dice= 2D6

And Satans Great Demon has:
HP: 80
BR= 5
Defence = 6
Dice = 1D6

You, as a group, will take it in turns attacking with the demon. You will attack first and do a total of 7 damage plus whatever score you get from rolling two 6 sided dice. So say you score 5 on your two dice (say, roll a 2 and a 3), you'd do 13 damage in total. The demon has a defense of 6, so you'd hit him for 7 hp of damage.

(So BR + Dice roll - defence = damage)

The demon will attack next. He will do his base damage of 5, plus his score from a single dice. If he scored 5 with the dice, he'd end up on a score of 10. With you defence of 5, you'd take 5hp damage...
For your health as a group, you each have 3hp. Each time you all take damage, each point of damage is allocated randomly across the lot of you. But if any of you lose all of your HP, it's GAME OVER, you'll be killed! Plus your group will be weaker as a result...

Hope that's understandable. Possibly not, but fuck it, I know what I'm doing and it's not like you have to do anything besides watch it all unfold, so cock it :lol: I just wanted you to know that there is actually a system to this thing.

Turn 1

The adventurers strike first, unleashing a volley of arrows at the demon for 17 damage! The demon defends for 6, taking 11 in total. A good start.
The demon retaliates by swiping its tail at a group of survivors for 9 damage. The spearmen get their shields up, but the group takes 4 damage. Bottega Don, Inceptive Lemon, Blade and Magic are all hit for 1hp of damage.
