The adventurers swordsmen charge next and hit the demon for 10 damage. It manages to block a fair bit of the attack, and take 4 damage in total.
The demon responds with a big stomp for 10 damage, dealing out 5 damage to Hand of Dom, Bottega Don, Aberstone, Blade and Rammy. Don and Blade are on their last hitpoint already, one more hit and they're done!

The spearmen push back with their shields and then lunge as a unit, piercing the skin of the demon for 13 damage, doing 7hp damage in total. Also, the demon loses 1 defence!
The demon swipes with its claws for 7 damage, doing 2 damage in total to Veggie Legs and Inceptive Lemon. Inceptive Lemon joins Don and Blade in the "one more hit and you're out" club!

The beast is getting pissed and starts throwing around some large rocks. It does 7 damage, so 2 damage is done to Ciderhead and Yellow. Ciderhead becomes the 4th man 1 hit away from death...

The men brace with their shields... a volley of arrows are shot at the beasts head with arrows as well, for a very impressive 15 damage (11 total).
The beasts head goes up... then comes down with and flames shoot out of the demons mouth! It does 9 damage... but the shields hold firm and stop the beast from doing any damage this time around!

A very good turn for the survivors!

The adventurers all thrash at the demon, it needs one last attack to bring it down... they need 19 damage to finish it this turn... unlikely, and a fair bit higher than they've managed thus far, but not impossible. They do...

The survivors give one last flurry, in honor of the fallen Mike, and bring the demon down.

The demon lays, defeated...

"I am... impressed. You fight well. HE will not be so easy to defeat though. Upon defeating me, I have been commanded to give you a clue... that clue is...AMMGMGRAMGAMAMARGANAAMGAMGARAAARG!!!"

The Demon lets out a cry of pain, and suddenly turns to stone, before crumbling apart. It seems to have died before it could give the clue! All of this was... for nothing? GOD DAMN IT, JOHN FALLON.

Dejected after all of this, and after losing Mike, the survivors head back to their old camp to reunite with Steady.

The deadline for this gameday will be 8pm tomorrow evening.

While burying the remains of Don, the survivors realise that there is something in his mouth... they pull it out, it's a piece of paper... it reads:

_ _ _ _ _ is _ _ _._ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ is _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ is _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Is this another clue? John Fallon said Satan was arrogant... it seems he's so arrogant that he's willing to give the survivors a clue himself.

It was said that there was a specific phrase that must be spoken in bold to defeat Satan... perhaps this is it. Remember though, making a wrong guess results in death!

Each game day, the survivors may have a guess at ONE consonant per day to fill in the gaps. Whoever the first person to say "Give us a (letter)" in this thread will be the person who takes the guess on behalf of the group. Should the survivors fill in all of the consonants, they will then be able to start taking a guess at vowels as well.

FYI, this is the end of the quests for this game. From here on out, you'll have to use the clues that have been given as well as figuring out this hangman style one to defeat Satan. Other than that, it will just be bog standard NOTW from here.

17 players remain... 13 innocent, 3 wolves and one who is something a whole lot darker. We have now entered the final stretch :eek:
