  • Grimsby Town 15:00 Yeovil Town

Burcnhall vs Rusk jumps off the page, two absolute mentalists once they've had a drink.

I'd probably take a point there tbh. I will be present which is bad news for us, we've tended to be better when I've stayed away.

Part time Altrincham getting a private jet down to Eastleigh I imagine.

typical of us that we finally play one of the teams near the bottom, just as they have found a bit of form.

Very excited for Barnet, their away bar has a larger capacity than the Alexandra Palace.

I hope we go with Tozer in midfield again, we looked a lot stronger in the middle of the park with him there and it allowed the likes of Jarvis and Davies to express themselves. I think James Jones could miss out again here, considering Jarvis took his chance to prove himself well the other night. Interested to see how we line up.

Jake Hyde, Rob Lainton and Luke Young to miss out through injury.

Indeed, Angus just doesn't suit that role at all. He struggled on Tuesday night.

Not sure who else we have who could fill that role really for the time being, Ponticelli hasn't really pushed on and Bickerstaff is a youngster who isn't that type of player. The sooner we get Kwame Thomas and Hyde competing for that spot, the better.

Would have preferred to play Stockport a month or two ago, I know the lads on here say they’re still not playing great but they’ve won 4 on the bounce, Madden looks bang in form, the lad from Bradford sounds decent, and Quigley is back.

Wouldn’t be too disappointed with a point either to be honest. Slight positive for us is that Frank Vincent made his long awaited debut the other night after arriving with a decent rep from Bournemouth, and showed a lot of what we’d been missing in midfield so far this season, albeit against Tamworth. Another start might come too soon on Saturday tho.

Hyde injured? That must be a first… Good player but he can’t stay fit for toffee. There were stories going round last season that if he had any slight knock he wouldn’t play through it.

Vincent should start, he played well on Tuesday, that should be enough to get him in, especially as apart from Palmer we haven't got much in there.
We tend to do okay against Stockport but agree with you, Quigley being back makes it a much harder game.
Win, by the odd goal.

Dagenham v Southend could be interesting and Boreham Wood at Chesterfield looks a test.

Beleaguered Weymouth vs. Beleaguered Wealdstone - it promises to be one for the ages. Weymouth concede loads and we don't score many.

With Dan Wishart now out on loan, we only have Dennon Lewis and Jerome Okimo as left wing backs. The former is being played there but would be far more effective on the side of a 3 man front whilst the latter isn't athletic enough anymore (imo) to cover that position. That's not ideal...

Given the movement out of the club, I'm expecting somebody to come in ahead of Saturday.

Start of a big week for us starting away at Solihull on Saturday. Followed by Dagenham at home and Bromley away. We are on a 7 game unbeaten run in the league so hoping that can be maintained. A point wouldn't be terrible for us. Hoping we might be able to eak out another win though.

Not sure Quigley starts for us Saturday

Don't think we're getting Madden, Quigley, Crankshaw or Whitfield in the same starting team any time soon. Only way is a very attacking 4-4-2 which Rusk wouldn't even dare do on FIFA never mind real life.

Class Barnet's away bar, you usually end up sharing that space with some kids bar mitzvah or people having a Dancehall birthday party.

Not even sure what formation we’ll play. Probably 3-5-2 if Roberts isn’t fit enough to start, but with all of the defenders back fit again that back five could be anything. I would start Vincent, and if Cal is out then Mitchell probably deserves a go in a genuine front two.

Rodrigues is in a proper run of form so probably our key man.

Thought they’d been starting together the last few? Be a bit of a cagey affair I reckon, one goal could settle it

Stories going round where? On the terraces? Where were these great minglings of supporters and stories taking place? Were they arranged on the dark web and attended in the middle of the night when everyone else was asleep? Or was it just something, y'know, you read on that great fountain of truth, the home forum? :ffs:

Thanks for that, it all depends on if the genius Wild, the greatest asset the club has ever had in its history, has really learned those lessons you said he needed to learn, or if it turns out he's still shit, after all. I guess we'll know at 5 to 5, huh. :pmsl:

Agreed, his feigning of a head injury is second to none. It doesn't even look like something he's had to work at, he's a natural. :bdick:

Do Yeovil have an active forum? Always like to get the lay of the land opposition-wise but I can't see that they have one. Strange for a club of their size.

I wouldn't start Roberts on Saturday, keep him on the bench as in truth he's not played well for a few weeks.
Nemane is plenty good enough to start on the right.

One of the wingers will come off the bench with Madden playing from wider.
