We're now 3 games into the season under our new, inexperienced, former York City u9's manager, and we've managed to remain unbeaten, picking up 5pts and 2 clean sheets on the way. We've hardly played scintillating stuff, and you could argue Fleetwood should have beaten us, but none the less here we are.

Walsall 1-1 Latics
Latics 1-0 Fleetwood
Colchester 0-0 Latics

We're not a team for your goals galore coupon as you can see, however I think we we may be a wise choice for that this weekend, especially if Shrewsbury are anything to go by.

Shrewsbury 1-2 Millwall
Bradford 1-1 Shrewsbury
Shrewsbury 1-2 Chesterfield

I suppose you could say they've had a more difficult start than us, though I would imagine they'll still be disappointed not to have picked up a victory yet given 2 of their 3 opening games have been at home.

I've got a feeling we may see a first start for David Dunn, whilst I'm hopeful Liam Kelly's injury that he picked up last night was just a minor one. Jake Cassidy, who's really impressed since joining, has broken his ankle and will be out for 3 months, which is a big loss for us.

Team:

Joel Coleman

Connor Brown - James Wilson - Jonathan Burn - Joseph Mills

Liam Kelly

Lee Croft - Mike Jones - David Dunn - Jonathan Forte

Rhys Turner
If the chances we create fall to the likes of Forte or Turner then we'd probably have more points and a better GD right now. As it happens, they keep falling to Croft who can't finish taking a shit.

Predictions: Latics 2-1 Shrewsbury

Forte & Dunn

Cant complain at the start we have made. Think we might edge this one. I am also saying 2-1 Latics.
