Yeah, great victory. Don't think many fans expected anything from this game, but credit to Curle and co. Another clean sheet is a bonus too, and a winnable game against Morecambe to follow this result up.

Well done Carlisle, fully deserved. Poor performance from us, really missed Rico and Holmes and it never clicked all night. Credit to Carlisle, a couple of attacking subs changed the game in their favour and in a weird way I'm pleased for them. We've been there in relegation battles and wins like those feel massive. Although their fans were really oddly quiet, even towards the end of a big, big win.

Didn`t get going at all, looked very ordinary without Rico and Holmes and Byron should have come straight back in after his suspension.

What's really weird is this is division's most prolific attack against its leakiest defence, yet In both games (Brunton Park I was at, this one I'm just going off reports from those that were there) the biggest problem for Northampton hasn't been the threat we pose up front, but the lack of threat they pose to us. We even decided to make it easier for them by playing a left back in the centre as we were missing our best (read: only decent) defender.

Really odd game, flat performance and really flat atmosphere. Wilder spoke really honestly about how poor we were and how we had slow build up and sideways passes. Carlisle had two chances and took them, fair play to them!

Wilder confirmed we are looking to bring in an experienced striker, losing Rico and Holmes could cost us a playoff shot!

All the best to Carlisle for the rest of the season. Was chatting to a few in the pub before the game and they were a good laugh.
