A morale boosting win for Oxford v their local rivals Swindon will mean that Oxford go in to this game with lots of confidence. MK Dons have improved since Robbie Nielsen came in and are currently sat in the middle of the table 5 points behind Oxford.

We might actually have a half decent away attendance to this

I'm too busy enjoying beating Swindon to think about our next match yet.

Is that the story MK Dons put out to cover losing him?

I've heard he was impressed with our medical team plus he already had a positive connection with the club. I've no doubt he is paid a decent wedge but then I'm sure you offered him a decent wedge as well.

:bravo:
Except he wanted more money, that's literally the only reason he went back on the agreement with us

You offered a two year deal while we only offered one. Can't really blame him.

You offered him more money and a longer deal, when he'd already agreed a deal here, for him i guess it made sense but I'll still call him judas

Hall probably just wanted to come back to a club where he had had a very good time previously... and also to a club with a better history, more fans (and more passionate) of course.

Anyway, on to Saturday. A win for us and we could possibly be just three points off a play off spot, with no other teams having played fewer games. We are in good form (7 wins out of 8 games in 2017), so will be disappointed with anything other than a win at home to a team below us.

Not a fan off Hall after receiving treatment from is in the summer and then leaving for you lot. But was a good player for us and contributed to our promotion to the championship, so thankful for that.

Have to question Rob Hall's decision to not only admit that he only took his current job because of the money, but to make sure that everyone on an Internet football forum knew all about it.

Load of bollocks being spouted in here so far. No worse than us crying about Taylor I suppose.

A conversation with Robbo at the 3rd kit launch was where I got that from, he was super pissed at the fact everything had been agreed yet he left for more money.
Could just be Robbo being Robbo, but considering Oxford would have seen him as a key player and we wouldn't after his injury (Robinson's stubbornness) points that Oxford would have offered him more.

We are unbeaten in 6, best league form in January, put 4 past Peterborough away, 5 past Northampton.

Our current league position is a bit deceiving, the reason we were so low first half of the season was Robinson's management style. Had Neilson been in charge since the start of the season we'd likely be top 6 now.

With our run and form, our fans will also be expecting a win, this won't be the walkover you're making it out to be.

I'll put our 4-0 away win against Rochdale up against yours at Peterborough, and our 3-0 win against Newcastle against your win v lowly Northampton.
We have also beaten Scunthorpe and Bradford (even if in the checkatrade) in recent weeks.

We started the season off quite slowly in a new league, and the manager was chopping and changing the team every game. In the last couple of months we have played quite a settled team, got some key players back to fitness and new players seem settled in, and playing a more pressing game.

So, two teams in similar form... Hopefully the home advantage will edge it for us. Especially as you played quite poorly last night by accounts I've read.

We did but 4 changes to the line up really didn't help, I expect starting Barnes and Aneke will make a big difference to us. I also don't expect you'll sit incredibly deep like Oldham, they were incredibly hard to break down as they didn't allow any space.

The fact we rested a few on Tuesday means we shouldn't be too jaded and that late, late winner must have given the players an extra boost. Two form teams with the Dons top of the form table over the last 6 games and Oxford in 7th on form, tempted to go for a draw on this 1-1.

But we have some good strength to come off the bench with different options so Dons to win 1-2.

League form is only half the story. We've played three cup games since the start of the year, and in total won seven out of eight matches. Two of these were against Championship sides and five of the eight were away from home. In fact this is our first home league game of 2017!

You'll be facing a much much better team than the one that drew at your place earlier in the season and I love the fact you appear to be underestimating us. Unfortunately, I suspect your manager isn't.

Likewise to you, we are much better now than what we were earlier on in the season. Not really sure on the result, in all honesty I don't really care as I don't see us getting play-offs anyway. Already looking ahead to next season personally.

In all seriousness, do you lot like him a bit more now? I seem to remember you all not seeing what the hype was about.

He's always been liked but you lot obviously went to another level with him I think. But going from league 2 to the championship is a big step up for any player.

The problem with him is that he isn't the best defensively and is much better going forward, as you know.

But of course he is loved, he came through the academy and is one of our better players. Be a shame when he leaves, but I can't see it being to you boys. I still see on your forum people talk about signing him, if he was to do it would be to a higher level imo.

I think most gave up hope of that when he chose to sign a contract extension with you. There were always rumblings that he was an Oxford fan but it'd seem not as Appleton would definitely be interested.

Still, it's only February. We could be in a higher division than you soon ;)
