our second derby in a week, I hope we turn up for this one. Tuesday was more encouraging from an endeavour point of view but our make shift defence scares the shit out of me. We've just got to go for it and hope we can score one more than the dingles because we will concede. Oh and I hope Wabara gets sent off giving us a winning pen.

I can't quite believe we lost that. If Harris had managed just a couple of decent balls into the box after beating his man a dozen times we'd have won at a canter. Other than that, we were on the attack pretty much the entire game but couldn't break down the massed ranks behind the ball, and got caught at the death completely out of the blue. Thought Donny looked to play for a point from the off and I can see why they'd only won once before this, but I suppose a broken clock is right twice a day and somehow they got the 3 points.

I think with the right manager Rovers could be a decent side looking at some of the names in the team. But if Jones manages to get the job on the back of this then they're in for a torrid season, as he sounded absolutely clueless on radio sheff and I can only assume he was watching a different game. Sticking 10 men behind the ball and hoping for a break will not yield results like today every week. As for us, our shit away form continues. Need to find a way of breaking down teams away from home or it'll be midtable or worse again.

Jones isn't getting the job as for you dominating the game, not the first half. Neither side did it was poor. Second you were better but far from dominated, without Harris I doubt you would have created anything. We played with 3 up front unfortunately our midfield isn't up to it and you worked hard closing us down.
