So play-offs confirmed then

Forest Green Rovers v Bristol rovers Wed 29th Apr
Eastleigh v Grimsby Town Thur 30th Apr
Bristol Rovers v Forest Green Rovers Sun 3rd May 12:45
Grimsby v Eastleigh Sun 3rd May 15:30

Let the lottery of the play-offs begin all games on BT sport. Tables below obviously meaningless at this stage but show head to head records between the 4 sides. Also interesting that Bristol Rovers and Grimsby have the 1st and 2nd best defences in the league respectively and Eastleigh and FGR have the 2nd and 3rd best attacks (behind Barnet) respectively.

It's going to be either Forest Green or Eastleigh isn't it?

Anyone but Bristol Rovers, we suffered down there for 8 years, can't have them flying back after a year!

Come on you Mariners!

Grimsby have served their time. But think Bristol Rovers will do it vs them in the final.

I think Rovers may have missed their chance, losing that lead at Dover was their big chance.

Plenty of teams finishing second on big points have blown it in recent years.

While Bristol are obvious favourites, a lot of the signs are pointing towards us this time around. We've got the best record against top sides, we're away first with the best away record in the league and the last time the league finished so closely, 2nd place got hammered in the playoff semis. This all just makes it even more spectacular when we bottle it again.

Since I started going regularly we've gone from top of the Championship to bottom of the Conference in around 10 years. The past couple of seasons have been a bit better but still no dice. I've not been a regular this season, I've made just one game and I'm more than willing to stay away from the playoffs entirely if it means reversing this god awful decline I've put us on. I'd rather miss out and see us go up than go and watch us lose.

The head to head records show that it will be very tight.
I'm going to the final. It will be great being there as a neutral!

We definitely aren't obvious favourites. 2 out of the 3 other teams in the playoffs have took 4 points off us this season. Position doesn't mean jack in the playoffs

Neither do head to head games, league position shows you're currently the best side out of the 4 this season.

I was mainly referring to the bookies favourites. You're definitely the best team out of the 4 though.

Bristol Rovers will win it so comfortably that it will be embarrassing for the others.

Hard to call, this. I'd personally like Eastleigh up as I feel they're the least threatening of the four (who has more money, them or FGR?) but Grimsby surely should win a play off by now.

Rovers vs FGR is tasty.

Can't decide between Grimsby due to their bad luck in the playoffs or Eastleigh because it would be carnage.

What is this bad luck Grimsby have had in the play offs? They've only lost two in a row, try five!

C'mon the Gas.

If Southend go up, anyone, FGR and Eastleigh would be comedy. if Southend stay down Bristol Rovers or Grimsby. It's already embarrassing enough when you see the likes of Fleetwood and Crawley higher up without throwing in the immediate promotion challenge FGR and Eastleigh would bring next season.

Not Rovers for obvious reasons... Not Eastleigh as they are a bankrolled monstrosity... Forest Green I wouldnt mind but youd say that Grimsby have been down here long enough and have been knocking at the door for a few years so ill go for them.

Loads of Rovers fans queueing up for tickets this morning. Shop not open until 12. I will be watching this one on the box. Feeling cautiously confident. Think we will draw at FGR and do them at our place.

Nice long trek for me on Thursday then. I know we beat Eastleigh twice during the season but all that goes out of the window now.

Am I also right in saying that the 4 teams in the play-offs had the 4 biggest budgets this season?

Best of luck mate, hopefully justice will shine through and the two 'proper' clubs will come through their ties.

Sold out our 850 FGR allocation before they officially came on sale at 12, absolute joke, our club couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery.

Hoping it's one of the 2 proper clubs that go up, not 1 of the tinpotters.

The Grimsby/Eastleigh tie will be interesting. Neither team are great at home, but good away.
