(extremely pagnell voice) imagining things sucks
Carrick was very underrated for United's dominant spell, a player that always went unnoticed. I never thought he'd make the grade when he signed from Spurs to be honest.
I always liked Mark Viduka too, a very classy player that just seemed to have the tag of a mid-table striker. I still remember him destroying Arsenal.
Overrated: Gennaro Gattuso, Michael Carrick, Gareth Barry
Underrated: Luka Modric (mainly in his Spurs days), Clarence Seedorf, Aaron Lennon
Liverpool fans are proving to have small penis syndrome regarding United legends.
It's a bit of a popular view these days but I still think Milner is vastly underrated and has been throughout his career.
Overrated? I don't see the fuss around Cavani, but then again I don't watch a lot of any European football.
No likes for that post, you must be disappointed.Just to continue the theme that the Liverpool fans have (sadly) brought into this thread...
GERRARD WAS SHIT hahaHAha!
Shame on you, shame on all of you.
Not really as Vidic was quality and made Rio look good for a few seasons.

Except my imaginings involving Holly Willoughby.
It is no surprise to me that Holly Willoughby is the most exciting celebrity you can think of to fantasise about.
Speaking of the Ferdinand's; overated Rio, underated Les.
Given a reputation as being a player that he wasn't for the majority of his career because of how he adapted latterly, is partially why. Not that he wasn't very good.
Piss off. His work rate was invaluable for that Arsenal team. And no I don't rate him just because he's a swede, see Zlatan for example whom I've never rated.Overrated - Freddie Ljungberg. Apart from a few goals, didn't offer much and just happened to land himself in a good side
Seedorf is regarded well enough, imo. That diamond with Pirlo, Seedorf, Gattuso, Kaka is possibly the most balanced midfield I can think of. It had everything.I don't think Seedorf was rated highly enough. Doesn't play with all the flair and won't be scoring a load of goals or many spectacular so often overlooked over others he played with.
Hagreaves has won titles and European cups in two different countries and was England PotY, he more than proved his worth. He was prevented from going even further and should be in the conversation but he's remebered more as a crock.
