I reckon Robinson must have got the water temperature wrong in the dressing room before the game .

As for us, doubt we will get past Sunderland but whatever the outcome, it’s still been one hell of a season.

We are cursed!!!!

Talk about timing, 24 hours before the play offs and goalkeeper Alex Palmer is out with a head injury. Josef Bursik has been brought in from Stoke on loan.

The same Bursik that Peterbrough signed as an emergency loan and helped get them promoted. Could he get a double promotion? Could be a great future quiz question if he does!!!

Do you not want the local derby next season ? Fans back and all that. Chance to beat them.
Not if stadiums are limited to half capacity.

I'd rather just see the c*** rot to be honest.

He's a weird one, isn't he? Always sounds well prepared pre-match and knows his stuff but such a sore loser.
I haven't bothered to watch, however I do find myself rolling my eyes at this interviews on occasion. No idea what he has said follow the game on Sky however he definitely deserves some credit for two consecutive play-off campaigns.

In reality he's an above average League One manager. He won't likely ever see us relegated however against better sides we often find ourselves tactically outwitted and that is concerning. There will, as he displayed at MK Dons be the odd season where everything will fall into place and he will get a promotion on his CV, however he's not a Paul Cook who you'd back to build a side in 12 months for a promotion tilt. With KR you have to accept his flaws and I really don't think after all this time in management he will mellow anytime soon, it's just who he is. Yes, his take on negative aspects of games can be a little repetitive and occasionally as a supporter of the club he manages annoying, however equally at times he's great and does well to galvanize support. During his early tenure he was excellent and his remit was largely far greater than any football manager. That, I give him immense credit for.

Yesterday evening was a fine example of his flaws; It was fairly evident how Blackpool would play and we played into their hands. Considering our efforts to reach the play-offs, we really have needlessly chucked an opportunity to compete away naively. That is frustrating and we haven't helped ourselves.

A couple of surprises in the Imps team - Joe Walsh misses out completely presumably due to injury which is a big blow. Montsma drops to the bench with Adam Jackson partnering TJ Eyoma. McGrandles drops to the bench and replaced by Johnson who will play a little deeper. McGrandles has had a great 2nd half of the season so surprised that he's missed out for a more attacking option.

Slow burner, this. Evenly matched, but neither look anywhere near as good as Blackpool. Decent atmosphere for 3,000 fans.

Well pleased with that. Sunderland one-dimensional, and no plan B. Lincoln a lot quicker, and got the rewards. Will be interesting to see how both sides approach Saturday.

We await another Netflix documentary showing the complete meltdown of the club I’m sure.
It’s like watching titanic on repeat.

Wasn't completely unexpected, given Sunderland's form over the last six weeks or so. Difficult to see them turning this around but not impossible.

Blackpool vs Lincoln would be a well-deserved final for both teams. Easily the 3rd and 4th best in League One IMO.

To keep a clean sheet after losing our GK at last minute, Walsh and then Jackson (out of the PO's now) early on was a good effort.

Didn't see the game live but I've seen snippets as I recorded it and didn't look like a really good performance from us but a fairly solid one.

We're far better away from home this season, both in terms of results and performance, and generally score at some point regardless of how good, bad or indifferent we're playing.

I haven’t followed League 1 at all this season but I’ve usually found when there is a massive club in the play offs they usually manage to find a way to win them so I sort of just expected it to happen with Sunderland.
