I was very disappointed in our performance today. Very wasteful in possession and went long a lot.

But have to give credit to Bristol, they did a job on us. All our creative players didn't have a sniff. DJ, Garner, Gallagher all very quiet. Gallagher came into the game a bit but not his usual self.

Very even game but have to say I think Bristol edged it.

I would have been delighted with the 5 point cushion over MK before kick off.

E i E i E i O?? I can't see us blowing a 5 point lead now ☺ Congrats on the title Bristol. I'm happy with second

I thought we missed Huntington today, we failed to take advantage of some good set piece deliveries by Gally and I think he would have taken control of the sloppy situation which led to their goal. Oh well.

Also very quiet from the Preston fans until you scored

I'd put it down to nerves, lets be fair, the away end was hardly booming

Yeah to be fair I thought the atmosphere from both ends wasn't the best.

It really has been one of those days - just left my bag on the fucking train :ffs:

As for the result - perfect. A really good game with two superb sides. I feel we shaded it, especially in the second half with a few chances, but delighted with a point, and I'll be back at Deepdale next season for a Championship clash :)

I thought it was pretty good in there - not the loudest, but sung throughout the whole 90 minutes; even when we were losing ;)

Yeah was going to say, there was consistent noise from City fans, whether the loudest or not is one thing, but barely heard anything from Preston baring the odd drum/beating of the wall whichever it was before you scored then actually heard fans, ah well doesn't take anything away from the fact I'm happy it looks like its you coming up with us :ds:

JJH :ffs: But at least its not as bad as being on holiday taking your suitcase off the coach then it being put back on and not having it for your whole holiday :ffs::ffs:

Thought the atmosphere was decent from both teams to be honest.

Couldn't hear the City fans for most of it but noise doesn't travel particularly well at Deepdale, hence why you couldn't hear us either, was a pretty good atmosphere on the Town End compared to what it's normally like!

Although you were very noisy when you got going! The 5 minute spell before half time when the "fuck off Swindon Town" chant got going was pretty good!

Lol!

I didn't have that much value in it thankfully, still a pain in the arse though.

I'm fucking useless - I have had to email David Lloyd and ask for a ST replacement, deary me..

Fair enough if noise doesn't carry well then, was a decent amount of noise amongst the City fans generally, would explain why we couldn't hear you if noise doesn't carry, I could see a fair amount of in time clapping etc, I like Deepale as a stadium very inclusive and makes it feel closed in, but from last years visit too doesn't seem great for an atmosphere.

Wait so you're QA22 on OTIB? The thread about desperately needing David Lloyd's email....

We may have solved the OTIB thread mystery about inviting people over

Not long back in BS30. Trouble free journey both ways and a really good day out. Mutual respect from both sets of fans for the other club and an absolute beast of a new chant to boot.
FOOK OFF SWINDON TOWN

FLINT SAYS NO, NO, NO

Yeah the Swindon Flint chant is my favourite in a very long time, was going for a good 5 minutes constantly before half time.

Took me a while to figure out the words, thought you were singing "Fuck off Jimmy Savile, something something something, she said no no no" at first haha

What's the story behind Flint saying no?

Who, or what has he said fuck off to?

Genuine question like. It's a great chant. Sounds different, and makes a refreshing change from all the other tinpot chants knocking about. "Allez allez oohhh" etc just sound incredibly bent to me.
