Don't see how its bitter reporting facts clearly backed up by the footage there. Most Vale fans have happily said whilst we should of won the game we a) cocked up with the Gills goal by the keeper picking up a back pass and b) didn't take the chances when we were dominant first half.

Most football fans don't want to see the spoiling tactics so were not going to heap praise for it. We are massively superior to last seasons side and just lacking that goal threat up front at the moment but from being a hoofball side, leaking goals and needing 2 or 3 ourselves to have any chance of winning to being a decent footballing side with a solid back line and midfield I think we have to be happy with our start. A dominant point against a side that usually up their game against us, a dominating display to beat a full strength side that was in the Premiership last season and another dominant 60 minutes against a side people expect to do well, cant complain at that with our 2 best players out injured and 1 more missing yesterday.

At the end of the day, we had a bit of an off day and didn't play very well at Poor Vale and got a draw which I'll always be happy with if not performing well. You have to remember we slaughtered Sheff U last week, the clear favourites to win this league, that's the true super Gills performance we remember and get excited about and will soon get back to.
Poor Vale supporters can only dream of a result like that and they've always been a bit bitter and twisted, ever since we beat them to the League Two title a couple of years ago, got to feel sorry for them really.

Good grief. You will end up being a northern version of the Swine if you carry on like this. You are really missing Rovrum aren't you? (not for long though)

When did SERNWA become a Gills fan? I'd say beating a full strength Burnley was a better result.

It's getting a little tetchy on here, I thought us and Vale fans were meant to be pseudo-pals following our League Two demolition a couple of years ago?

Those were the days.

However, I have noticed a few of your lot seem to have jumped onto the 'I hate Vale' bandwagon that is so popular within this section of the board.

Fucking sheep.

Very true, loved that season... Picture the scene...

Vale and Gillingham fell in love as both enjoyed their great success together despite the attention seeking rich girl Rotherham trying to upset the party... since 2013 the honeymoon period has ended and we've lived a stable relationship often visiting each other to hand over some points as gifts.

Saturday came and Gillingham came to see Vale but was horrified to see Vale all dolled up and looking far more attractive than when they first met... furious Gillingham then physically attacked Vale in a shocking case of domestic violence... scenes were uploaded to YouTube but Gills denied it... now the relationship is in tatters... can they mend it? Can another dose of dual success repair the damage?!

I'm sure it will all be OK in the end.
It just seems that the lady was on blob this weekend, hence she was rather emotional and easily upset.

I thought it was generally agreed that it ended up on Steve Evans dinner plate?

Dinner plate?

I reckon he just had it as a light snack or a starter.

Can we continue the Swindon game chat in here instead? Pretty please? Or can we just have our very own thread so all the haters can hate in there instead?

Uche is a strange character! Hes massively religious judging by twitter but whilst has undoubted quality plays very much on the edge. His temperament seems similar to Diego Costa on the pitch (not as good obviously)

Don't see why the thread was closed? Controversial incident sparking debate surely that's what its all about?

It was closed because it had turned into petty point scoring. I'm all for a healthy debate, but it's impossible to have one with a group of people who stubbornly refuse to accept any opinion other than their own.

I didn't even think it was that bad. It was just a disagreement between 2 sets of fans with the odd outsider throwing their 2p into the mix.
