Iain Anderson also got the winner on my only visit to Molineux - a 1-0 victory on Boxing Day 2000.

The Wolves fans were protesting after the game - something about "Moxey out"?

How times have changed!

16 years on the fucker is still here

I did mention them you mug! I cracked a hillarious Greenock Morton gag.

ISE I was also at the day. Wasn't aware it was as late as 2000 though. The game I mentioned must have been the year before then as remember Wolves v Preston two years in a row around boxing day.

We played on Boxing Day again in 2001 -
I think it was a 3-2 win with Sean Gregan forcing the winner over the line with his arse:)

Look at this, the competition are falling apart, scared of the might of North End. I think your choice is clear, BMB.

Iain Anderson was weird, we signed him for about £750k from Toulouse, he was class and then three years later he was playing for Grimsby even though he was still in his mid-twenties.

Delighted to be part of PNE, one of my boyhood clubs, I looked round Bristol's new ground and it was a building site, missing a trophy room to display the Welsh cup, I tried to go for my medical at Hillsborough but not only did I need a tetanus shot before entering their 700 year old stadium, but the new owner wanted to charge me £34 quid for attending the ground for said medical.

Looking forward to getting started tomorrow with the lads!

Was meant to be delighted, my typing errors are appalling at the moment, that was like reading a text from my mum.

'Destroying' your club. When he took over you were in League One after successive relegations. You're now midtable in the Championship.

And fans wonder why they're not taken seriously...

That comment was directed at Moxley and Morgan I'd say. You can't just look at our league position and say everything is fine, when it clearly isn't.

Jackett's tactics are questionable, but he's done a good job getting us where we are with what he has to work with. He will walk when the season is over. The team selections indicates that he's fed up.

The easiest thing for Wolves fans to do is blame Moxey, but he is why our heads are above water and not ending like Villa and Bolton.

Come the inquest of the cop out that's been this season. The finger points firmly at Thelwell. Average recruitments at best this season and last season, besides Afobé. Best Jackett signings have been when we were in League 1.

In a nutshell, Thelwell out.

I agree Thelwell has been a big disappointment.

He is our head of recruitment, and his idea of replacing Sako is to sign 3 sub par wide players of whom none are even close of replacing his ability. He (along with Kenny Jackett apparently) decided to sell Stearman and not replace him, thinking that Hause and Ebamks Landell were better than him (they aren't). Where was the logic in signing players like Tommy Rowe, George Saville, Adam Le Fondre, Conor Coady, etc, if they aren't good enough? For the few players he has helped sign who paid off (Afobe), there is a lot of crap that he has brought in too.

I think Moxey has a lot to answer for, and he is a target for the fans for a very good reason. I'll praise him for his business acumen, and transfer dealings (how the fuck did we get 750k for Van La Parra . However the man is totally clueless as a footballing man, as shown by some of his bizzare decisions down the year. From the infamous pie and pint day, to his shady business dealings, Moxey for me has cut his ties with the fanbase, and soon to be the club.

If we are to progress Morgan needs a buyer and quick (easier said than done, I know) and Moxey needs to be removed from the club, along with Thelwell. Not sure if other Wolves fans fell this way, but Jackett needs to go too. He has had a great 2 first years with us, but this is his level. I feel we need a big clearout to take us to the next step, and to build a team around our upcoming academy players.

Welcome to the forum btw.

Surely Mark you must look back on the decision to sell Stearman as a good one. Granted you've watched him many times at Wolves but he's been shocking at Fulham and I've always thought he looked a liability against us.

He was solid for us. I think the reason we miss him so much is because he the only really senior defender we had at the club (Batth is still young). He was never exceptional, but he was always a decent consistent performer at this level. One of the major reasons we have been shit this season is because we have missed his leadership in defence. We look a lot more exposed with the kids we currently play in defence.

Dont think he gets much gametime at Fulham.
